Love Sonnet 42 My love may now be looking at the moon,
My love may now be looking at the moon,
Thinking that there I also gaze tonight,
And this, she has to know so very soon,
That on those times, she had always been right;
If by the moonlight, she did find a rose,
The sort I give in exchange for her kiss,
She only have to smell and hold it close,
The kiss and me she would not so much miss;
And when later, cold winds would start to blow,
A coat of virgin wool would hold her grace,
And may resemble white untrodden snow,
And remind as well of my warm embrace;
....The moon should not so much as waste its lights,
....As previous weeks have hearts in darkened nights.

Love Sonnet 53 I oft wonder if some cave girls have known,
I oft wonder if some cave girls have known,
How to enlist the moon in an affair,
If too, their thoughts, to fantasy have flown,
That is, before they would be dragged by hair;
And how their men must have squandered their nights,
To seek love mates, or food along the way,
Or then frolic in these new-found delights,
Or go shouting like animals that bray;
But more exciting is, once they bother,
To stop being mimics of not their kind,
Say, animals that greet one another,
To sniff up front, rather than from behind;
.....Sorry for these not so romantic swirls,
.....Whilst stuck between the moon and some cave girls.

Love Sonnet 168 Another Minute Without You, Has Passed
Another minute without you, has passed,
As sands poured grandly in a timely fall,
And so did leaves that on the ground have massed,
When they obliged to heed the Winter's call;
But wintry days lingered, to fill my life,
In Fall or in Summer as new growth springs,
As griped by heart, so constantly in strife,
Unsure of flight using tomorrow's wings;
A gilded night assures no rosy morn,
As dreams awake oblivious of itself,
And all wishes, that with the stars been born,
Fade with the sun, scorching my very self;
.......How soon will Time reveal my rightful place,
.......Among the sands that deferred your embrace.

Love Sonnet 21 My love, she walks among the lilies, free,
My love, she walks among the lilies, free,
Stopping awhile to smell a bloom or two,
I hope my heart she picks along the way,
As there it lies among the shrubs that grow;
No scent would lead my love to where it pines,
Not even stars would know that there it waits,
And not a word or stifled cry it whines,
Although waiting has shown to pain translates;
Before the tender finds the shrub to burn,
My heart may in her arms be cradled soft,
May some fancy towards it she would turn,
And in her dreams may it be held aloft;
....As many blooms are there which to contend,
....My heart will not as one such bloom pretend.

The Other Side
When certain sages wrote how things are viewed,
I took to heart one clause that struck my mirth,
And to this day my heart it has imbued,
With so much strength, my mind with much self worth;
Events as viewed depends on where you stand,
As in a seashore, choose which part you'd be,
Such as in tide, the water goes to strand,
Or in the ebbing, choose to be at sea;
For Death could be a start or be an end,
That hackneyed phrase is best to sum it all,
Your Faith from which your peace may all depend,
Invokes a Source to Whom you might would call;
Your soul could still avail reality,
Of life ethereal in eternity!

Faith
When all precepts of men fall short of mark,
And for a line to grasp, there’s none to find,
A wisp of truth among the shreds may spark,
As true of stones colliding and would grind;
Can men contain the sky that’s limitless?
Like sea that has a bottom though how deep?
When heart aspires of Heaven for its bliss,
Though mind succumbs to doubt that soon would creep;
But of unknowns, I’d chose the splendid deal,
Of awesome myths, if myths they all would be,
Rather than be among minions of Hell;
“So sorry, Mr. Devil, sir, not today,
“But if you really have to aim for me,
Come back a day after eternity.”

Love Sonnet 143 Have You Contrived, To Deprive Me Of Sleep
Have you contrived, to deprive me of sleep,
By way of smiles, and acts of sweet accord,
Making me toss in bed, for meanings, deep,
Sowing between my heart and mind, discord?
Have you, your ways conspired to scare my wits,
That when sleepless, I sleep to dream all day,
And in the night, daydreams, my soul commits,
Think, I'll fret, which I might, or that I may:
What's in your song, that got me so inspired,
Or, was it me, easily swayed by songs,
Which blinded me to what really transpired,
That now, my time to fantasy belongs?
........Meantime, I dream reality with you,
........And reality of dreams, coming true.

Vanity
High peaks beckon to vainglorious of hearts,
As if to say, from there, Heaven is near,
A fool from whom humility departs,
Would scale the heights, mindless of any fear;
Foolhardy quests may for adventures make,
To flaunt before the eyes of beasts and men,
In climbs, or hunts for fiercest game to take,
Are gloss photos, or stuffed heads for the den;
Where does courage lie, where lies vanity?
What profits a soul pushing to extremes,
Even to dare God's awesome majesty,
Scheming for which, the mere desire blasphemes;
…..Earth is way down here, high up there, the sky,
…..Firmaments apart, but naught we know why.

Fiel
Her beauty finds array among roses,
Among orchids that often fill the night,
With sweet perfumes, the scent of which crosses,
Paths of wistful dreams, nocturnal in flight;
A sunflower watching the sun till gone,
With upturned heart hitched to the Lord all day,
Come those smiles, showering on everyone,
On all of creation that God did lay;
Many a stranger came but left as friend,
Might be heartless, as such they left behind,
Assured of care, without heartaches to mend,
With love returned, in substance and in kind;
....Her world, a garden in bloom, resplendent,
....As so her heart has been, with love, ardent.

Love Sonnet 02: This is your day, so special in a way,
This is your day, so special in a way,
As your life begins, while their waiting ends,
When two decades ago, you wafted free,
To be the gust of May, that Springtime sends;
Will angels grudge on being copied by,
Of their vestal grace and celestial charms?
As such were endowments, you edify,
The armor of your heart, that none disarms;
As bud that turned flower and fruit becomes,
May soon comprise the longings of your call,
Whereas flourishing from seed, soon blossoms,
That completes life's cycle, the task for all;
.….So, to you, happy birthday, bloom of Spring,
…..And wishing you the joys, the year will bring.
