Love Sonnet 15: I feel love's fires smoulder very intense,
I feel love's fires smoulder very intense,
Which could go on blazing in coming years,
Whilst so, your eyes I did see recompense,
Moments we spent in loneliness and tears;
Embers, there will be none for us to keep,
As flame of love will burn without abate,
Like stars that shine eternal as we sleep,
Nary will they, to ashes decimate;
Yet warmth is felt though glow is yet unseen,
Passion of ours rages so strong within,
Endure they would, until forever, keen,
To love and keep loving, through thick and thin;
.........Unlike candles that on their wax subsist,
.........My love will burn as long as souls exist.

Love Sonnet 181 Many had gone to wars or crossed frontiers,
Many had gone to wars or crossed frontiers,
All very apt and fitting for the times,
To break records, blaze trails or push barriers,
But lo! This soul just prides to write these rhymes;
I never found the need to trek the stars,
My world is here with you, that now I find,
Denied adventures, booty or the scars,
But privy to a wealth of peace of mind;
In grandeur basks the venue of our tryst,
That halls of Montezuma naught compares,
But Cleopatra's barge you sailed from mist,
Of History, to lay for love these snares;
.....Helen did worth a war and thousand ships,
.....And you, you laid on table all my chips.

Love Sonnet 77: While walking by the greens in moonlit night,
While walking by the greens in moonlit night,
Beside a garden full of memories,
Strange expectations you will feel outright,
In response to recurring reveries;
When welcomed apparitions would transform,
To fill your senses with assuring signs,
The happenings unfold all true to form,
As chance, for you, with fine fortune aligns;
Sweet fragrances that scent the air declare,
Some floral burst, or her whom you did miss,
But if confused as to which one is there,
Just the same, rose or colleen gets the kiss;
......Love seeks out what it must, by all the ways,
......And roads would led to where your fancy plays.

Love Sonnet 05: If I May Say, That Crimson Rose You Wear
If I may say, that crimson rose you wear,
Looks red, but tainted, not as red so pure,
Its tints of violet, a purplish smear,
Bespeaks not of your ways, true and demure,
I hate to think what damasked signifies,
Though rose so patterned and motley is rare,
But rose for you, must know no butterflies,
Uncrossed and not grafted, of hybrids, bare;
Will fitting rose be one, not there at all?
If it will just turn out a floral waste?
And might therein, a fruiting bloom install,
Whereby, what is seen gratifies the taste?
.....Yet, that rose, I would not the least despise,
.....It rivals not the sparkle of your eyes.

Love Sonnet 16 The stars are countless, shining in the sky,
The stars are countless, shining in the sky,
My eyes just see, but only one each time,
And this is so, I came to know just why,
Is all because of you, my love sublime;
The very lone starlight in all the nights,
That brightens up the sky for me to see,
My thoughts are lifted up to claim your lights,
And lull me back to sleep at break of day;
Time seems too short for life I'll spend with you,
When love I have would last eternally,
Until all else on Earth will have been through,
And all scriptures fulfilled so faithfully;
......My feelings flow as though a river free,
......That dries after forever and a day.

Love Sonnet 36 My love is much like gem of royal crown,
My love is much like gem of royal crown,
Appraised by fire that its luster would bring,
And though no throne, my heart has ever known,
With her around, I would feel like a king;
She is at par with but the very best,
Methinks, I am not far amiss to say,
That she is way ahead of all the rest,
If she be gold, the next in line is clay;
What else will to my love aptly compare,
That alongside her charms would not seem bleak,
Perhaps, a sweet cute bird, though not so rare,
That when caressed would touch back with its beak;
.....So many things of worth beneath the sky,
.....But I might find better compare up high.

Retaliation
When distant trumpets blow, sounding retreat
And all directions, pointed back to base
Despair waits, as the foe of greater threat
Such that only victory, would erase
The unhealed wounds and scars, that all bewailed
Add bitterness to misery and grief
Yet may behoove to change, the scheme that failed
Boding better times, but suffering, brief
The mound of dead piled up under the grass
Where limping comrades plant the tattered flag
Stands tribute, cast in bones instead of brass
But the action in which braves, should first log
.....Is find the strength to fight those doubts again
.....Always arrayed for battle in the brain.

Love Sonnet 25 Help, Hercules! An eagle tore a part,
Help, Hercules! An eagle tore a part,
From my poor liver, swooping from above,
Nay, not my liver, but rather my heart,
And she seems an eagle not, but a dove;
She once did at my table ate, as guest,
Zeus had bade, that nary should she mistreat,
Heart that offered all, host no one can best;
But folly, that his heart would so entreat;
For so like Syrinx, she runs really fast,
I am not like Pan, my breath would have puffed,
When there came a time, to hold her, at last,
She was turned to reeds, such a clumpy tuft;
.....But Oh, this heart been slow to comprehend,
.....And so much slower, when it goes to mend.

Survival
As Mother Earth would shower all her grace,
And we as sons had suckled to her breasts,
As furtherance of life that keeps our race,
As did the progeny of all the beasts;
They came to share our space, the continuum,
And in fact lived longer in those times past,
Millions of years, ages at minimum,
And it's a wonder why they did not last;
Had Mother Earth been harsh, to them, turned sour?
After their stint of wanton life as kings?
Or their Fate, too, they did devour,
That even humans do, as the need brings?
.......Would life be much sweeter which long endures?
.......Or pain lengthened, if pain, it so conjures?

Love Sonnet 03: My Love Is The Kiss Of The Morning Dew,
My love is the kiss of the morning dew,
Pure as the meadow rain that makes grass grow,
Or else, as tears that jealous lovers knew,
Or water from the falls that rocks would throw;
Her smile is as flight on wings of delight,
That raised my dreams, to ascend skies so high,
Which kept Euphoria very well in sight,
Never to fear of running out of sky;
Her touch, soft as though petal falling down,
Torn from rose wildly tossing in the wind,
Landing on my face, smothering a frown,
And all pervading cares, it would rescind;
......Could Heaven send an angel much fairer?
......Yet, for my love, it can't belittle her?
