I Want a Pick-Up Man
vs.1 Today, I had a little a dream,
I thought it was real, or so it seemed,
And the guy that was in it was almost perfect.
I realized it was too good to be true,
But it told me somethin' I knew,
And now I see that it was worth it.
(chorus)
I want somebody who is down to earth,
I want someone who will understand.
I want somebody who can heal my heart,
I want someone who will hold my hand.
I want someone who will take care of me,
I want somebody that will tell me they love me, and
I want a pick-up man.
vs.2 It doesn't matter who they are,
As long as they can play guitar,
But that's not the only thing that matters to me.
I need a guy who's really tough,
A man who is actually sweet enough,
Caring and loving as he could be.

In Christ Alone - anyone
vs.1 In Christ alone, my hope is found?;
He is my light, my strength, my song?.
This Cornerstone, this solid ground?,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm?.
What heights of love, what depths of peace?,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease?.
My comforter, my all-in-all?.
Here in the love of Christ I stand.
vs.2 There in the ground His body lay?,
Light of the world by darkness slain?.
Then bursting forth in glorious day?,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory?,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me.
?For I am His and He is mine?,
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

Little Girl in Georgia
Vs.1 I was born and raised in the South,
By my momma and my daddy with a little loud mouth.
And my little brother always had to tag along,
So that's when I sat down and started writin' these songs.
(chorus)
Just a little girl in Georgia,
With a big head full of ideas,
And I have always heard that
Home is where the heart is.
Lord, please help me if I have to move to California,
'Cause I wanna stay as a little girl in Georgia.
Vs.2 If anything, I will move to Tennessee,
And make sure to marry somebody who's taller than me.
That doesn't really matter just as long as he cares,
Man, it's hard to find guys like those these days, I swear.
(chorus)
(instrumental)
Bridge: And if he breaks my heart,
You'll know where to find me.
The good Lord knows

A Great Start
vs.1 When there's a time in your life
And you just keep fallin' down.
Think about fixing things
And get up off the ground.
Try to fix the problems
But never get stuck in a knot.
'Cause bad things won't happen
If you give it all you've got.
(chorus)
Sometimes when things are goin' tough
And you think its bad enough
But then things get even worse
After every obstacle course
So you have to pick yourself up
And always trust your heart.
It'll be a great start.
vs.2 When something's goin' wrong
And you don't know what to do.
Find someone you know and see
If they can help you.

Missin' You (I Can't Stop Thinkin'...)
vs.1 I can't stop thinkin' 'bout your blue eyes,
I can't stop thinkin' 'bout the way you make me laugh.
I can't stop thinkin' 'bout your smile,
Boy, bein' without you, it sure is tough.
(Chorus)
Oh, I'm missin' you like crazy,
And you don't even know.
Misery is drivin' me insane,
I guess that's the way it goes.
I just wish that you were here with me,
'Cause I honestly
Don't know what to do,
Ooh, I'm sure missin' you.
vs.2 Man, without you, things have been a little difficult.
It's just like that the world has gone mad.
I tell you, that life has been a little hard.
And, with you here for comfort, I'm feelin' sad.
(Chorus)
(instrumental)
vs.3 I'm really missin' your blue eyes,

Your Love
vs.1 I remember I first started talkin' to you.
Your voice was beautiful, but you didn't think it was true.
Then, when I met you, I was so excited that day.
I don't think these feelings will ever go away.
(chorus)
It's like hot chocolate on a cold winter's night.
It's like a blanket keeping me warm.
It's like a superhero holding me tight,
Protecting me from a giant storm.
I feel strong and calm and safe like a peaceful dove,
'Cause all I need is your love.
vs.2 Everyday you always seem to be on my mind.
I'm pretty sure you're the one I've been trying to find.
No matter what we're talkin' about, I always seem to say,
'I love you so much, ' and you are more than okay.
(chorus)
Bridge: You tell me that when it gets cold,
I'll be the one you get to hold.
Sometimes I just don't know what to do,
Because of the strength of the love I have for you!

Blessed Be Your Name - Hillsong
Blessed be Your name,
In the land that is plentiful.
Where Your streams of abundance flow,
Blessed be Your name.
Blessed be Your name,
When I'm found in the desert place.
When I walk through the wilderness,
Blessed be Your name.
Every blessing You pour out,
I'll turn back to praise.
When the darkness closes in,
Lord, still, I will say:
(Chorus)
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be Your name.
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be Your glorious name.
Blessed be Your name,
When the sun's shining down on me.

I Don't Wanna Wait
vs.1 I, this wacked-out girl who doesn't
care what anyone thinks,
'Cause usually their opinion stinks,
And they think that they can bring me down,
But I, this tough, little woman who
has way too much on her mind,
And thinks about you all the time,
No matter how much gossip goes around. Oooh,
(chorus)
I- don't wanna wait a whole 'nother minute,
I don't really wanna wait to give in
To your beautiful eyes,
Beautiful smile,
I don't know if I can make it a little while longer,
It's too much pain,
And I don't wanna wait.
vs.2 You, this one hot guy who always
listens to what I say,
Every single, solitary day,
And you think that I'm the prettiest girl in town,

Cuddled Up at Night!
vs.1 You would never find me sneakin' out,
'Cause I'd get in trouble, with no doubt.
You couldn't get me to go out too late,
'Cause there's no tellin' about my fate.
All of the above and the following is right,
You could only find me cuddled up at night.
(chorus)
Nobody knows that I seem to find
That you are always on my mind.
When people ask, I simply shake my head,
And wonder if I shoulda said,
That anything I usually say is right,
'Cause we all know I'm cuddled up at night.
vs.2 I would never disagree,
That someone out there is worse than me.
Other than that, I must confide,
Baby, there is nowhere you can hide.
I'm gonna tell you again, I'm right,
You could only find me cuddled up at night.
(chorus)

My Boys and My Girls
vs.1 Five years old, got nowhere to go but home.
At age nine, boys still had cooties and nothin' much was goin' on.
Now 13, there's lots of drama with guys and life.
I hope that someday it will turn out right.
(chorus)
It used to be that I'd have to worry no more.
Sometimes I wish it could go back to the way it was before.
I thank God I have the best freakin' people around me in the world.
Don't know what I'd do without them; my boys and my girls.
vs.2 Sixteen, had my sweet party, and it's the middle of high school.
At 18, on my way to college; it's gonna be so cool.
When I reach 25, nothin's gonna stop me from sharin' my heart full of romance.
But right now, it's funny how the earth is still spinnin', even though it's out of balance.
(chorus)
Bridge: I hope that I won't have to cry much now.
I'd like to be happier, but I don't know how.
(instrumental)
(chorus) x2
Ohh, Don't know what I'd do without them;
My boys and my girls.
