So
... and so I do love you so
limp-eyelid folding I
your hair stroking
violin lambs wool halo
duet yearning yawn
dawn this soon for suck
succumbing cumming
we
delicious daylight devouring
strings part pulling
fluid bodies we
string vibrant aureate
playing parts
our parts parting
strings attached stroking

Ineffables
utter nothing
save this moment's
warming wanton
breath of orphan
no promises
then I shall hold you
to nothing
less this body
moment
brave stave
search sheerest
trembling
presence

To (H) ATOR
She kisses inspiration with the scent of living lotus;
raining resurrection on this body’s light of mind.
Her eyes’ imagination dreams a dance of desert day gods;
orbiting oasis in a triumph tone of one.
She speaks initiation with a word of no beginning;
talking of the Tora in an aur ‘a mouth to ear.
Her heart’s illumination lights a lamp of liberation;
asking ‘nihilation for each lick of elixir.

THE DELICIOUSLY NAUGHTY FAERY TALE OV ALCHEMIC LASCIVITY
CHAPTER III: THE BLACK WORK
(excerpt)
BOUND
Stalemate
Many moves ago
Grand Master's magical deadlock
We invoked each other
We provoked each other
She revoked me for another
But I gave her my word
Pledged for life

Writing Day
She far watching me as I write
tapping these lines
ignoring side glances
It's now close to seven at night
and we have yet
to start breakfast cooking
My blinders are on kettle cold
only tepid thing
about us being
her first poet I am told
second artist
reassuring novice
But she likes to watch me working
comfort claiming
my mistress accepting

Best Friends
She is softly spoken
this clouded thunderstruck even
tenses aside she glides
providing comfort
guidance eye
ears encompassing wide she
as no other
immaculate clarity
intimate weather advisory
providing
one hand over mine
fickle hear racing
other about shudder
stuttering

Elegy for Irving Layton
Irving had it right:
'Me, happiest when I compose poems...'
His Books of Formation
Magic, Holy
This day I now so clearly see
So wise the Master
Boundless plenty
Graciously imparting
his immeasurable legacy
untold generations
I at his feet
among innumerable many

Immortalize
So how shall we immortalize?
I ask her with this face
School-boy gleam giddy
Talent, potential
augmented with
her very own, “perhaps”
dangles for follow
Text
draw or paint for sculpting?
intimate as evasive I
literate searching
tug tension tearing
tension indecisive
lends word for earing:
She the Master ever in training
(dare I steal her word for ask?)

Escape Key
candy apple of my eye she
drops her veils
eye of reciprocity
am so moved accordingly
mouth fingers member avails
webcam tango tangle we
privately revel in marvels
manually testing technology
it is our time for privacy
in lieu of tangible intimacy
overcuming geography
circumventing
we make our lives just
a little bit better for the bruising
relieved I

Defenses
She'll never say it
This, nor the other:
She will never
ever
love again
The fence her fortress
forewarning 'bidding
'boding
The fence her offense
insipid speech of silence
tepid
The fence is fencing
The fence her armour
sword word arrow
