Double Trouble
My father's castle has a view
of the sea
Oh what a beautiful sight
Someday my prince will come
for me
He is my one true love
my delight
My dreams come floating on
the mist
The vampire came through my window
at midnight
My father would
be pissed
I saw he was not alone
His friend gave me such
a fright
I almost turned into stone
These vampires need to go

Where Magic Lives
the fairies of glendalough
very beautiful and each one unique
live in the intensely green forest
with the unicorns of mystique
with brownies of mischief
elves to watch the path
in harmony with the mischievous
the elves dance and laugh
a special plan of the fairy princess
at the summer's eve feast
she would celebrate this evening
with her friends, from the east
not only with her kingdom
but also with her newest friends
before the full moon rises
before the summer's end

A Zombie Encounter
oh thought the princess
can a girl not walk alone
if she's got secret protection
if careful not to lose direction
then you should all be aware
for demons are a real scare
for he maybe a vampire
or she maybe a monster
if they should all be zombies
you alone could win the battle
if you have a sword of magic
if not run toward the light
for the stranger in the night
could be danger in the day
when walking from the castle
she came upon some dark rays
the princess faced the zombie
with her sword laced with magic
he said, 'so rad a princess for me'
oh this is so to bad for him

Marie the Laureate
o' the laureate cried,
'oohh lala here is polonium
oohh lala here is radium'
she surmised, we can do more
than grow a geranium
the atomos is not indivisible
can we define impermissible
not allowed, not permissible
the sole winner of the prize
let's try this on for size-
marie curie- who found herself
isolating radioactive isotopes
looking through microscopes
a great top notch physicist
where is my lyricist
first woman to earn a nobel prize
in not just one but two sciences
would love to take you to dinner
the nobel prize chemistry winner
in the year nineteen eleven

Capturing Sun's Magic
On a perfect day in September
the sky is an awesome blue
With just one cloud
a single cotton puff
shaped like a heart
Slowly floating across
the blue horizon
The stunning princess
enjoys the walk from
her sparkling castle
To the sandy white beach
by the aqua blue sea
With the gentle waves
caressing the shore
As two lovers whose
hearts joined together
to beat as one

A Magical Day
I am truly enchanted with this day
there are messages of love
from poets and poetesses far away
then there is the sun- my love
In this big baby blue sky
bringing me so much happiness
I smile and I sigh
what else can I say or do
today is most fabulous, yes it's true
the weather is clear and bright
laying low on the horizon
are streaks of clouds, frothy white
mother nature planned a special show
the moon is here, bathing in the sunlight,
beholding the beauty of nature
for he cannot see it in the night
the tree maidens wear pretty gowns
In colours of orange, red, gold and green
dance and swirl with the morning breeze
this is a most enchanting, delightful scene

Tales From The Ship
Somewhere in the beautiful
Caribbean ocean
Our lovely princess was
captured by a smile
Her father didn't notice all
of the commotion
These pirates had plans to
carry her to the Secret Isle
Dear Father, Please come
and save me quick
I am being held prisoner
on this creaky old ship
These criminals seem to know
every trick
There is a skull and crossbones flag
with a rip
The flamboyant pirate is a dead ringer
for Johnny Depp

Princess and Unicorn
Seeing the princess outdoors
was an everyday occurrence
Everyone had heard of and seen
the daughter of the king
Spending time in the rose garden
was a regular recurrence
Enjoying the many different
roses in the spring
Seeing a unicorn would be a very
rare occasion
Everyone had heard of the
magnificent creature
Of beauty and of a magical
persuasion
Very few had ever seen one
only in imagination
The crew and pirate had just committed
a secret rose garden invasion

The Quest
Once upon a time a princess
was in distress
in a beautiful country
called Ireland
the handsome knight came
to impress
and to win the
princess hand
the knight set off
on the quest
to return the pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow
as the beautiful princess
had request
the brave knight was
eager to begin
everyone had faith in the knight
for he was the champion

V. Vampire Romeo ~ The Note
Into the night the princess slept
As darkness fell over the land
With only a few stars to see
Waves swept onto the sand
As silence pervaded the castle
Visual vampire romeo entered
Quietly in the early morning hours
Before the early breaking dawn
He stopped by for only a second
With no wish to wake his desired
By hand he delivered his message
A note of love with a deep red rose
Sunlight streamed through the window
Kissing the princess cheek so tenderly
She did wake with a smile - until
She was stunned, a rose and a note
