Art

Ordinary items, extraordinary art,
Wooden pegs in a bowl I see, but what,
is that blue, red and yellow part?
A bar of soap, it does look somewhat.......

My hubby guessed a blue towel,
Or a shirt that is red,
Perhaps it was a dish towel,
Or something made of thread
I guess I have to wait once he has read
My query in this poem before he goes to bed.

What you see is what you get,
This is exactly what he said.
'Tell your Hubby, he and I see the same way.
That is exactly what it pretends to be! '
Now I see......

Lost Love

Love can lift you high,
When love says goodbye
Love can bring you down
You feel so like a clown
A love was within grasps.
Lost love, many regrets.

Love has flown
You think, chances blown.
Feelings for lost love,
Is hard to suppress.
Take the learning curve,
Time passes nonetheless.

And just like all sadness,
It will slowly fade away
Allow again happiness,
tomorrow is another day.

A fresh encounter,

Pipe Piper

The Pipe Piper blows a lively tune,
Melody so rich, you will surely swoon,
Through the narrow street and alleyway,
The rat did not come out to play
The cat did come and it did sat
I bet curiosity kills the cat.

Listening, a pair of furry ears,
Piper boy takes away its fears.
An audience of one may not be dandy,
However, the cat will come in handy.

He sends the cat to hunt the pesky rats
They hide in the sewage and in the gaps.
The Pipe Piper work will soon be done,
He and the cat has become one.

Oh! I lost the bet, He didn't kill the cat!

Seashells

One by one, dropping into the sea,
Seashells spiralling down the wild blue yonder,
If the world does not have a sea, what would life be?
That would be something to reflect and ponder.

We will not have sharks, nor dolphins to admire,
We will not see the turtles come to shore to sire,
We will not see the majestic whale in all it's splendor,
Or the magnificent corals bursting with color.

There will be many we won't get to see,
If the world does not have a sea,
What would life be?
We should be thankful then, shouldn't we?

My Sister, Lost and Found

I had a sister for seventeen years,
She went missing, many tears,
We wondered what she was up to,
We didn't know she was forced to,
By her sick boyfriend,
This abusive boyfriend,
He controlled her every move,
Kept her weak, there's no prove.
When father died, the saddest truth,
When father died, the loss of youth,
Broken spell of the gnome,
Born again, little sister calls home
Father's prayers were heard,
Sad, No father's love, this lost bird,
But mother's love still remain,
To cut through the years of pain,
Her journey on trust has just begun,
My sister, has returned to the sun.

A Woman's Mind

What goes on in a woman's mind?
Boggles scientists and other men.
A whirlpool of everyday pantomine.
Not one, not two but more than ten.
If you can peer into womankind.
Where do we really draw the line?
Thoughts circle thoughts, to no end,
Until we lay our heads to sleep intend.

We are incline when in a bind,
Emotion eats there is no line.
What waste
To taste
Sweets, what line?
Goodbye waistline.

We give, We care,
Can't breathe, no air,
Who gives, who cares?

Sea Otter Named Sue

Sea Otter, Name is Sue,
Hunting in the ocean blue.
Octopus, Squids, Sea Urchins and Fish,
Cockles, Clams, Crabs and Shellfish.
Smashing with rock on her furry chest,
A meal so tasty, Oh! it is the best.

Back floating, posture, serene reposes,
She eats, plays, She sleeps, dozes.
She mates and gives birth, sea waters,
Baby on back, she trains and nurtures.

Anchor in a forest of kelp,
Swirling seas, a dire need, help.
2000 remained,20th Century distinction,
Hunted to a point of near extinction,
Precious furs, Priced possession,
Hunter, Human, One explanation.

Survival now, protected by law,

Life, Man, Wife

We all have but one Life,
Man should only have one wife,
Unless should one wife dies,
Find love with another, guys.

Your life is what you make of it,
You create, you make, a shape for it.
Some are bigger, Some are smaller,
Some are longer, Some are wider.
Some succeed, their shapes are higher.
Some who fail, what's their burning desire?

Life shapes can be a rainbow,
No such thing as a sunbow?
Some are brighter, some are duller,
Some sadly, do not have any color.

Be an artist, Be a painter,
Every brush stroke, tells your story,
Be it darker, Be it lighter,

Love At First Sight

I dash across the busy streets,
One wet and cloudy day.
To buy myself some savory sweets,
I trip a clumsy way,
Plonk down on my fanny seats.

I look around from where I lay,
A man dashes across the busy streets.
He comes near me, eyes striking blue,
He speaks and says, 'Miss, can I help you? '

Stands over me, reach out his hands,
He pulls me up, from where he stands
A tall, dark stranger, man oh man!
Handsome devil, I am a fan!

He smiles, one thousand watt,
At least that's what I thought!
Is he my knight in shining armor?
Who knows, He could be a farmer!
