Tombstone

Where's my perch
that held me on
moonless nights.

Where is the only place
I felt accepted
by everyone there

Where is the stone
that like an old friend
is gone

On a hill overlooking
a river
Maybe the closest to heaven
they'll ever get

Taken away...gone
for river road

Come drink from my well
My well of anger
Taste the bittersweet tears
Aged all these years
There's a hint of left out
The twisting pain flowered bouquet
What reason would you come back again
It's a long jouney my friend
Take a cast with you
When you come to it's end
Don't turn back

Long ago song

as new

Dead......Insides

Dead......insides
Dead, no mores alives
insides

One day the water
will wash the dead away
on the inside

The dead feelings, memories, and all
The names dead inside me
Leaving a white hot desert

Burning to the core
Where the bones are bleached
dead white. White hot heat and nothing more

I Remember

When I danced barefoot to the music
In the winter as the snow came down...

When I walked in the streets of millions
As there was no sound...

When sweat ran into my eyes
Stinging and burning and houses
Went up in flames and lies
Went down as fear...and all

I, my, fly, die, shy, sigh, guy, bye
gone, flown, cone, drone, blown, away
hay, hey, neigh

Cry, my, guy, yigh, goodbye
wait, hate, gate, crate, weight
even some debate

Watch out! or you'll trip over escape
While I poke you with debate
And escalate mole hills
Into mountain ranges

Waters of Love

water cool, fresh
a waterfall
a clear blue pool

then it is steam
white vapor hot
burning everthing

as clouds massing
in the west
thunder clapping across my chest

in my face
which are tears

A second page, a second chance
A wisp of wind
Off into the night it will dance
Love was never eternal
Just a dream I had once
It dies like everything else
We grieve, we cry, we are sad inside
But time goes by
There is another dawn's ray of light
Gives us hope that we might....

Stepping stones
From hearts to tears
To air and clouds
To thunderstorms
To lightning
To BOOM-BANG
And you're knocked
To your knees
Then the wind will pass
To blue skies
That hold the flowers
That shed the raindrops
And the chill cradles
The loneliness

A bottle of wine
ordinary cheese
The foreboding of
the evening breese

Soft honest words
murmured across the station
