A day at Camp Randall
Heading towards regent street
fans roaming the street
hitting all the bars, way to many cars
red & white every where
tailgating here and there
Music blaring, people staring
everyone having blast
chatting and laughing
parking lots filling
everyone is grilling
Brats, chicken and steaks
sharing stories of games past
hoping the season don't go fast
eating, drinking with strangers from next door
People enjoy a day at Camp Randall
hearing the band playing
the cheer squad on the fire truck whipping by
excitement building up
feeling the beer mugs up
walking up to the grand ole Camp

If I Got To Speak At The Capital
If I got to speak at the Capital
I would give it my best and it goes like this;
Republicans, Democrats, and Independents too! !
we need to get the red, white, blue on the move
Party divides do not work, our people need to work,
medicare, SSI for the old and the needy
we all can not survive on the needs of yesterday
the needs of today will affect the needs for tomorrow
the old paved our way, the young needs to make waves
The U.S. is the land of opportunity and the free
Here in the nation's Capital I beg to you
It's time we move on to New beginnings
remember what our fore fathers have taught us
To treat each other equal, not by race, money or religion
work together to create a better life for all
for now we need it most, at no cost
Save us from the debit of our predecessors
recreate a partisan place, and save grace
We can't take it so much longer
It was the poor who for so hard to make this country

The Lambeau Effect
Green Bay, Titletown, Lambeau Field, the Packers
fan or not the experience is breathe taking
People from all over the country, some oversea
come to enjoy the long traditions and magic
Tailgaters everywhere, Grills a fire
Strangers talking as friends, chatting last week's game
Brats, Hamburgers, steaks sizzling
the beer in the coolers chillin, the soda & booze fizzling
beans bags tossing, Music blasting tunes
Women dancing, Guys laughing
flags flying, Green and gold flowing everywhere
the proud partiers showing their pride
stands and Bands surround the Sacred land
the bars full of crazy fun fans
the costume they wear so unique, From the Bishop to the Hulk
war paint on, warmed up for the frozen tundra
the pregame rituals, praying to the football gods
beer salutes for a championship, nothing no less
These fans win or lose treat strangers as one of them
cheering, laughing, crying, praying all during the game
