Autumn is Coming
The Summer is slowly passing, and the green is dying,
The garden of flowers loses its color,
The white storks, slowly, slowly are being lost in the heights,
Tomorrow's world will be much duller.
The scent of the flower perishes in steam at dusk,
It smells like a dried, baked rusk.
In grandparent's yard, under the beam, a deserted nest,
already misses the cheerful swallow.
Up, on the house's chimney, one stork, almost lost,
looks around melancholy for the last time.
From the mountain's sheepfold to the village,
the longing shepherds descend with their sheep.
Caterpillars wreak havoc on the orchard,
Orderly, the good soldiers set out on their crusade.
A small leaf cries, scared of falling
under the strength of the wind.

My Romanian Language
Sweet, melodious there’s no other
like my language in this world,
From the lips of my grandmother,
every word is shining pearled.
It is born straight from the Light,
Sunrise over the Black Sea,
Just to hear it it’s a delight,
Oh, how great’s my love for thee!
My Romanian language, a treasure
Safely kept inside my soul,
Then released with grace and leisure,
Golden words that made me whole.
You can hear it in the leaves,
when you walk with Eminescu,
In the secret of the breeze,
Trying lovely to impress you.

Mom
You hold me in your arms, first time,
Warm tears were rolling down on your cheek,
Drops of happiness betrayed your infinite ecstasy,
And "two hearts-one" then began to beat.
I was safe, I was not afraid,
Because I felt your love for me,
I understood right then that you are my Mom,
And I knew how long I will live you'll be my Mommy!
On so many late nights, you watched me
Whispering with love... "You'll be fine!"
You gave me comfort in pain and sorrow,
You, Mom, were always by my side.
You were the first sound that I said,
Which then opened a path to the whole range,
The dearest, the most beloved word,
The precious word of "Mother" that will never change.

The Magical Night of "Sanziene"
It's a magical night in the enchanted garden,
and it's all a deep mystery,
Slowly, from the stars descends a gem,
opening a gate from heaven, again.
Wrapped in steam and light,
fairies dance in silver dresses,
and golden flowers in strands fade,
It rains blessings on the earth.
The air tremble with a song,
and mysterious dances start in the meadows.
The Earth and The Heaven are in harmony,
in the magical night of Sanziene!
But, we have a Gate that opens to Him unceasingly,
and the magical night is an eternal Morning of Grace,
for our Lord, the King... has risen!
He gave us Heaven and Eternal Life as a gift.
It's a magical night in the enchanted garden,
and it's all a deep mystery,
I hear Him among the stars, my tender Father
whispering; You will soon be with Me in Heaven!

Mom
You held me in your arms for the first time,
Warm tears were rolling down on your white cheeks,
And for the first time, I felt the love's delight,
I understood that this is how love speaks.
Drops of happiness betrayed your infinite excitement,
Our two hearts as one then began to beat,
entering in a new stage of love's enlightenment,
Your smile was angelic, and your breath so sweet.
So many sick days you watched over me,
Whispering with love, “You’ll be fine!”
So many late nights spent on your knee,
You taught me love's reason to shine.
You were there with me when I took the first step,
You taught me when to move and when to stand still,
When to leave my worries on the doorstep,
You have inspired me with your power and your will.
