deep eyes looking at my food
from window slits fingers on sills
slightly open lips, i ache inside
i called waitress to give them food
send them away, not to come back
instead they smile; waited for me
i have fear stepping out to walk
yet what can i lose getting out
knowing or discovering places
they might answer to questions
i have in mind brewing ever since

saw ant sipping dew off a leaf
waving antennae, wiping face
hanging there upside is great
i can't imagine doing myself
running up and down at ease
it's wonderful to be small, agile
a crystal cube of sugar is enough
whereas we use three teaspoons
thousands of cubes, thousands ants
everybody is working, no unemployed
amazing team efforts even in battles
retirement is death to them, would you?

Relaxing Moment
thousand trinkets litter store
all has particular mark on it
cheap with beach logo, colorful
from cups to t-shirts to bikinis
only place on this planet where
you can shop with you undies
i want to buy a new straw hat
it gives me that shelter from heat
comfortable or i'm use to it maybe
rows of restaurant serving drinks
i dropp to one of them for gentle sip
to enjoy watching full beach front

tribute to an old man
who sings all night long
picking words from unknown
plucking his guitar to tune
melody created, his very own
i listen until i fall asleep
when i wake up i'm on my bed
dreaming of notes in my head
i was sailing one day in hawaii

after we emptied our thoughts
we are tired and hungry for food
at far end of the hall a promise
an array of very delicious dishes
almost likes of las vegas buffet
awesome i could smell it already
we twiddle our thumbs in line
contemplating which is the best
me, i go for fresh tropical fruits
sea food is always a temptation

man atop a wind-bowed tree
searching for any sign of deer
here we have tree-stand to see
perch like bird; powerful scope
on high powered hunting rifle
deer no match, down on spot
can you imagine yourself crawling
upwind with bow and arrow in search
for lunch, dinner, breakfast; yards away
slight miscalculation or moves; crucial
life of pre-dawn man in remoteness

towering future bridge post
growing into a monstrous shape
fat 't' capable, carrying four lanes
higher than two stories; boulder
slow growth; eight months labor
funding could be culprit or weather
i hope they won't collect toll fee
about two football fields in length
equivalent to ten thousand cows
maybe ten tomahawks and humvee
ease traffic coming from shipyard

dog owner came to chat
of places where he play at
kempsville green cheap; said
'if you walk yo get it free
for a sum of membership fee'
boring to play there everyday
he's like lighthouse caretaker

curling line of ants by my window
down to hardwood floor sloping
they didn't go to shortest distance
i put a line of vicks vaporub across
they're scattered and look confuse
soldiers on both sides took charge
i got enough for today, i must
