041310c Can't Pass The Day Without It
i met people from desk masters
asking me questions about tiger
i responded with smile, i said 'it
could be better'; i bid goodbye
then i met a nascar guy; happy
he said ' i'm glad a new guy win'
our work commonality is sports
theres no day we don't talk about
football would put anything to pause
baseball that comes very, very close
in other countries it could be soccer
except south africa, they have trouble

043011U bright hope
two windmills by driving range
reminds me of my tribe's village
irrigating farming fields; efficient
but this one is mounted on a pole
cables run inside and to building
to power lights and shops tools
this golf cart i'm riding is charge
from that swirling blades; neat
as long as wind is blowing, good
it doesn't matter where it's coming
we're coming to age of self-sufficient
i know gas alone killing my pocket

041310f Getting Fresh Air
i went to fishing wharfs today
watching crabbers on the bay
police are monitoring them too
getting close to restricted zone
before they can fish all they want
time change soon will be warrants
dolphins didn't show nor osprey
sea lanes dotted with cargo ships
there's a heavy traffic on the bridge
helicopters hoovering for time quota
to satisfy their flight fee; oh! airborne
i got enough therapy, i'm going home

042211H only on friday
a box of fried fish, french fries
and sixteen ounces of root beer
for five bucks is wonderful price
that i will have patience to wait
this is not new york nor chicago
this is friday in southern state
they have these array of benches
facing calmn blue atlantic ocean
where waves are tampered to ripples
from newly built long water breaks
i can see sails from a distant flaunting
enough coldness for my french fries

031010 Green Moments
i'm almost kneeling to the green
tracing the undulation and grain
i set my ball and look one more
from four sides and with prayer
did a couple of practice swing
got the tempo and putt went in
roll is when you hold your breathe
in silence talking to your ball begging
to break to follow follow path to cup
as tension builds up inside of me
so focus, it's me and my golf ball
nobody else, then yess...growwl(silent)

050811H ants among us
i stand up and give them food
some took it but much of them
they wanted me out of their way
i have to crash some that bit me
acid bites are painful and itchy
red ants are very fierce, territorial
gatherers of leaves, shoots, sugar
food train is so busy infinitesimal
everybody has job, no smoke break
am their enemy even i give them food
maybe i'm different, it was fear i know
so as other people over that plateau

042010g Which Group You Ought To Be
i listen to office stories; no politics
tiger didn't make hundred; forgotten
toyota never heard for two weeks
graduation is creeping to the top ten
stranded pets at airports; most knows
tea party, not part of gossip menu
whiners gather around like bees
they console each other to please
smokers stayed at their own pit
bumming smoke; blowing clouds
silent group line against the wall
listening; pretending they know it all

051410G cuddling around
throbbing reverberates around
slipping through known sound
i'm enjoying holding your hand
i lean my face on your warm palm
you comb my hair with your fingers
you bend getting closer for whispers
quick strum of guitar raise my eyelids
i turn searching; where is your lips
you started to talk i put my finger on
you remain quiet and wanted to bite
i pulled and i tickled you, on your side
you hug my head between your chest

032510f Her Legs Are Long, Runs Fast
she stood there
with too much pride
walk with the grace
of a lovely bride
i came to touch her face
she's nodding, she likes it
i give her food
she follow me around
she wants to nibble
on my palm
love to be rub
she keeps still
never been mad
i took her to the river
for a morning swim
she wants me on her back
as she glides to river river bank
her legs are long, runs fast

041210e Unruly Populace
placards of names and pictures
of missing victims are plastered
on every available space on wall
flowers are drop, prayers are said
many weeping friends and relatives
converge in every corner of town
looters start to ransack stores for food
breaking windows, doors, whatever
their hands can get into, it’s chaos
some are very adventurous stealing
beds, radios, television, fans, stereos
there’s no electricity and water too
