The Kinsmen
The face of our kinship
So beautiful and rare
Will stand forever
Gifted of heaven
No earthly care.
Between time and tranquility
A quest for sensibility.
The search for friends a hunger serves
But most, alas, get on my nerves.
Alone in life
What mortal curse
Could scarce be breached
By something worse.
Companions?
One behind each tree...
Is it I, alone, who thinks like me?
My kindred with a wit so free

God is Love
As the morning lights gentle touch
In Loves embrace it finds me here
In Thy perfect Love so near
It casts away all care and fear
It nullifies the great illusion
Imbues my Soul with Loves infusion
In this place there's no confusion
Love expels the grand illusion
And now I put my sense aside
I now can see the turning tide
In which all earthly dreams collide
In Love's sweet presence I abide
My Mind and Soul at once are free
For God is All and it shall be

Dragon's Wrath
Dragon's Wrath
The Dragon's wrath
It burns my soul
It takes my breath away
And in its shadow
I will hide
Until the break of day.
And on that mourn
When dawn is born
I'll make my get away
I'll climb to heights
With all my might
And leaping from
The highest mount
My soul will take its flight.
I'll soar above

Guiding Light
My appetite for life has flown
It flew away today
And with it went my will to live
There's little left to say.
I can't say when or why it is
I always feel this way.
I linger here in my own tears
Until a ray of light beams in
To chase my fears away.
And that is when I realize
This fog I am in
Is never here to stay.
But how can I
With eyes cast down
See God's eternal love
I must look up to see the light
And sunny skies above.

Polarity Sincerity
Polarity brings clarity.
From sadness to hilarity.
The night seeks day.
The wrong sees right.
The grounded sparrow.
Yearns for the flight.
The blind man seeks.
His once lost sight.
The weak in spirit.
A return to might.
The strength within.
Like a dearest friend.
Is just the beginning
And not the end.
In conclusion we realize
No matter the severity

Seeds of Love
What seeds have I planted?
Sorrows have I watered?
What horrible things did I
Call to my mind and to my life
To the life of those around me
Because I did not understand
The destructive power of
Lack of self love.
It took many life events
Many generations
To create what we
Experience today.
And what if all the
Bad seeds
Negative thoughts
Sad feelings
Got washed away with love.

Natalie's Gift
Natalie so bright and free
A flower to unfold
The essence of serenity
Of wisdom's tales untold.
Your magic tune
The song of life
Your essence of pure love
Will lift the world from darkness
To lofty realms above
And now the tide is turning
Your youthful mind is burning
And that for which your yearning
Is right within your soul.
Please know you're loved
And cared for in spite of
Life's cruel pain
The light you give to others

Shades of Love
Oh thou my love
hast taught me much.
Even though nary a day
have I ever felt
your loving touch.
And through the years
I've come to see
my own true love,
he must be nuts.
But nuts or not
what matters more.
His compassion for others
is not a sport for keeping score.
Let them mock you
and turn away.
For they are shallow
in all that they say.

Winter Dreams
In the winter of our lives
We meet the storm head on
In shivering strength we tread
To seek what lies beyond
Now when winterkill stings our face,
Turn our heads down to the ground...
There is no cause to look up again
Till spring comes back around.
No reason to look up again
Till spring comes back around.
When skies soon clear and bud doth peek
From branch so bare and bleak
Our hearts awake to find Suns warmth
Full circle of a Life complete
We nudge each other to the drifts,
Fog the bitter air with laughter,
There'll be no surrender to the gloom,

Back Door Uncle Sam
Back Door Uncle Sam
Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, Mitt...
Who could ever give a shit
if all these store-bought
Candidates were sold
and hauled away in crates.
With blow of Cain
and 'I' of Newt
We've sealed our country's disrepute...
The time to vote is fast approaching
But don't you throw a fit
The GOP and the SOB's
Don't have the back door chip.
Obama's got the very top
The man with the second Reg.
So when they count the final vote
