The Lonely Girl
She was born alone
Grew up alone
Played alone
walks alone
cries alone
lies alone
She may even die alone.
She seems so solemn, intense, pensive, negative.
People think she is arrogant, self righteous and self serving.
She is not looking for pity or sympathy, she does not want people to feel sorry for her, she's just looking for a little empathy, she does not think of herself as a martyr, she is just treated that way.
When she cries for help, everyone turns their back on her, when things become to difficult for people to understand or accept, they walk away from her, they fear her.
She yearns friendship, she craves companionship, she wants someone to hold her and tell her everything is going to be OK.
The lonely girl.
