is this moment's

let's not stir or move
least it whiff away
dissolving
one of us from the dream..
Complete
is this moment
next
when a hand
reaches out to test
fearful
that if
no hand
responds
the dream theory
is confirmed
and I'll

Watching
I watch his mouth move,
his lips;
they hypnotize me.
They are sensuous;
alive in their movements
I like the way they
form vowels;
the top one curls
with the word 'so'
form vowels
like 'oh' deliciously;
and the bottom one
to pouts at me
both open softly
his white teeth showing.
He says

Don't Want To
I can walk down
the up stair case;
I can make it rain up.
I can contradict the gospel truth
but I can't leave you.
I make water wine
time suspend
make the clock spin
and rewind.
but I can't seem to get enough of you.
Voodoo spells,
nostrums and remedies,
won't cure this addiction;

Submit
I have submitted to
what I should not have submitted to;
taken at times
what was not mine.
I have subscribed to
what I knew
was not true;
yet remained quiet
still;
afraid.
I've carried water
for that Other
while weak from thirst myself.
I've cast my eyes down
from exhaustion

Hot And Light
We liked it
we said
hot and light;
each soothing one other;
scheduling
in the dark of night;
hot was hot
still is hot
and light so light;
our laughter rose
ceiling height;
smiles
sing heart songs.
Your applied the heat
and opened
my succulencies
and flames
licked
above our souls

Home
Home is where we sit the table
festooned in the joy
a quiet meal can mean
we two comfort our souls
while our two muffled voices buffet the air
blending with the candlelight.
Our slow night languishes
as we sip wine
smelling the rose bouquet
talking aimlessly;
more company
than discourse;
that being enough
for what we crave;
each heart
bathed in the reciprocity

Temper and Fire
Her temper
flares like fire
singeing tulip bulbs;
sudden
frightening,
intense,
and all
consuming.
I embraced
her
and it;
drew it near
and she
felt my arms
around her
containing;

Friends
I can see her
dazzling
sunshine smile;
emanating from her eyes
drifting into sight;
a beautiful
beautiful sight.
Undeniably she was
a Force of Nature
and effortlessly-
she lived her life
fluidly-
lightly,
Innocently.
She is a Spirit
still bathed in a certain purity in this world.

Free
I saw you all lined up
at the totem pole
hovering
You
waved at me-
waved me away-
ignoring the Tsunami
washing over me
Ho Ho Ho
is what they called me
and I never unsaid
what I knew
wasn't true
and I let it lie.
Oh, Oh, Oh
I live within

Child Face
Hers is the child's face
at the window
the face which won't leave my mind, .
The longing there,
the voice says
how long til help comes?
In every meeting
even if the room is windowless
I see her face
hear that voice
and I think
we working for you in here;
it won't be long.
Every meeting
has a judge
whether what I am doing there
