Reaching in the Bed Room Night

I could reach out to you
but hesitancy grips-
freezes things
and I grow anger about that
the hesitancy you've bred in me;
because I sense and know you'll not reciprocate

I therefore then and there plan my revenge
I know that is silly.

I had a thought with myself
ascribing actions to you
you have not done yet
and I then count my self
self righteous
for having endured
what you have said
or not done yet
based solely on my predictions
of what you would do if I did.

Making It Up

I have this deadly
jar, brush and blush
which applied
is called make-up

Such trepidation here;
I dip with foundation cream
eyeliner and brow trim
place in
my green contact lense;
hair filled out with
fall and curls
mouth plumped up
with mystery shot
red paint
24-hour guaranteed
and then my mirror
gazes back
an altered me.

Moon Hair

She had the moon in her hair

I'm sure its beams played there

because they loved her too

transforming their own grey light

indeed

transforming light itself

from that smile of her's

into noon at midnight.

She sat there in moon-white

her dress a sliver-white

Memory Love

She languishes there among my memories

making fleeting and unexpected appearances;

cupid's arrows still flying true

to my heart stone;

before I can look to see

she is gone again,

mixing in perfectly among other opaque

things which live too inside my mind.

She would lay sometimes in full view

on her Cleopatra Sofa

Proximity

Her instrument fluttered like the humming bird
a harp humming strumming true
kneaded the Carolina gloaming.

Her hands were violin pure
her eyes twinkled like a harpsichord;

I, her eager audience,
sit memorized
by her fluttering finger-tips
inveighing a sorrowful tune
which came pouring over me
in the shaded night
on the patio
where she plays the piano
newly tuned, and I, new visitor
and suitor
am with her grandmother sitting chaperon
asking
'My boy what do you do?

Summer's Yearnings

Summer's eyes look me for heat and flowers

succeeding the spring buds with which adorned her
I am cast as Spring Calling

buds my Siren Flowers
I rose

inside her

flower petal Springings

because I

heat from inside
lying down with her Summer Fevered Longings.

Her roses bloom from my Spring Pollinations;

I give her Summer Glory

Individual Thus?

It could be that I am Perfection's Love
and all that you need.

It could be that you will brim with satiation
of all my needs;

I could be in error tho,
and therefore cannot be Me
if all of above were true.

But Being Me should not lie down at
Needs Door
and be external to the me
I was born with and the Me I am.

So perhaps I should be the Am which I already Am
and need not Be for you
the All you need,

understanding however that tack

Lower Me Slowly

Lower me down slowly
because fast is dizzy-fying;
kissing is best moving slow like molasses.

Touch me in my crazy-making spaces
which I reveal only to you-
let me feel the weight of you
for it is grounding to my soul.

Breathe on me,
granting me that gentle wind
only love knows.

Let me imagine
the roundness
seeking to seat
in that holy space
only the soul knows
and I will grant you
and only you

Satiations

I flail
beyond satiation-
hands pressed against the margins-
excess my guide
availing.

Outer verges, boundaries
and limitlessness
draw from me
every arrow
in my quiver.

I've abandoned everything for you.

All my givens have burst
my hands reach-
my limits tested
my rainbow's always here
before the rain.

Love's Perview

If I offer you all my love
will you value it?

Or think me cheap
to offer it
so easily?

If I deny you my love
will you
lose interest
and leave me
alone
and lonely?

If I am mysterious
and offer not;
am vague
will you first be intrigued
and later lose interest?
