Angels and Birds
Angels and birds fly
altitude I guess
provides perspective
from height where
we see
the Earth is just a blue ball
rotating in space,
with millions below
unaware of the
Dark Surround;
of Moons and Galaxies.
.
If we listen
we hear
happiness,
anger,
and bliss
all in the cacophonous mix,
and it then seems
that Angel eyes and ears

Baby Love-Angelina's Story
If time has elasticity
then stretch it across my love's heart
in the dead of night
make it stop as we try
to make our baby.
Now three years of trying.
Make it stop my aging.
Grant me the time;
reverse the ticking clock
inside my womb.
I want this baby.
I cannot be the barren woman.
Take this ticking clock

Broken Verbs and Writers Block
I coddle these Broken Verbs
hold them to light
to see if they will move me
beyond this adjectival, noun less state.
I am all Metaphor and Simile
swimming in Transitivity;
in my Pluperfectness.
My Gerunds
and Participles dangle
my Clauses fragment;
when I speak
I know only Dark Words
and Raven Poems.
Today I am tense;
less.
My Grammar is broken
my etiology's vague

Sit Beside Me
Why are pretty things
so hard
like the jewels in your eyes
Why are aspirations
so high
just out of reach
like you.
Why are your arms so white
they blind me
like you
If I reach down the well
of your soul
will I trip
and fall in?
Can I get this perfect
love

Lumpy Lumps-Mary and John
He presses his hand
on my breast
and increases the pressure
exploring
moving slowing
rotating his finger tips
to that adjacency
where index finger
takes a turn
on my gentle breast rise
and probes
the gentle probe
which mixes
exigency,
and anxiety.
'Do you feel a lump I said'
'No nothing yet' he says.
He strokes with his finger tip

A Love's Remains
Cobble stones
are his tears,
his monuments;
I hear
ragged air
flapping
over his garments
as he falls-
her face before him.
She gave him water;
clothed him.
His gnarled heart
sang for her,
his flight-
swan death down-
because of her;

Backward Eyes
Your eyes are on backwards
always looking in
Your heart has been misplaced.
I cannot find your hands in the touch.
Your face is multi-leveled
confusing me.
I have sent birds
looking for your Soul.
How could you not love me?
I hear your foot-falls
move toward my door
but then hesitate
reverse and walk away.

Summer's Form
Summer has been suspended this year;
nature has acceded
because all of summer's light and it's flowerings
are contained in you
coming into your majority.
Flowers bloom in those eyes
especially the blues and greens;
beauty caresses your body
alighting across those rose bud breasts
animal flora and mineral all align;
your hands
carry fire-flies
providing light for lovers in the gloaming night
lovers
who swim in their own perfumed senses;
beauty true is intoxicating.
Summer heat

Ultimate Mystery
If dark matter and energy comprise
most of the universe
then most of what we see is
bounded by limitlessness-
most, is therefore unknown..
How profound
is this?
The suspicion grows
from hint to sentiment
that what we think of
as dead matter
might be alive.
If the Universe is expanding
and surely it is
then Big Bang Theory
might be simple growth.
The suspicion grows from hint

Eating Vesta
I reached out and pretended to take her nose
and she pretended that I had done so
laughed gleefully and ran away.
I chased her in the park we both falling to ground
and I reached out and pretended to pluck out her eyes;
she howled
grabbed her brow
saying
'What have you done with my eyes! '
I reached out
opened my mouth
and nibbled on her ear
munching gleefully
and she said in mock pain
'Ouch.'
She pinched my cheek,
a small handful
