How to deal with
Internal loneliness.
There is almost nothing to deal with.
Every human
Has only one heart.
And it is a given
That one heart
All by itself in the chest
Is going to feel lonely!
That is just another way
Of saying,
We humans are

And it takes action and effort
On our part
To deal with

Why do lonely people complain?
Do they want others to solve
The problem
They most likely created
By themselves
For themselves?
Why do lonely people complain?
Don't they know
Most people are afraid?
And those that aren't afraid,
Cannot help them?
Why do lonely people complain,
When the way
To break the hold
That loneliness has on them
Is through action?

Lonely Person
Every person
Is a lonely person,
But doesn't realize it,
Until it starts to hurt.
The loneliness
Is buried
Under layers
Of activity and commitment.
Take away those
The loneliness is exposed
And it starts to hurt.
The lonely person
Thinks he or she is a special case.
So do the others.
They treat the lonely person like a contagion,
Which the lonely person isn't.

Is there a societal solution
To my loneliness?
After all, society has caused the situation.
I am friendly enough I guess,
But people are too scared and under duress
To repond to my friendliness.
Do we form societies
Because we are not dieties?

If you are lonely
You simply need someone
Not just any someone
But your someone.
Finding your someone
Is apparently a simple solution
To a complex problem.
A problem as complex
As you yourself.
The problem arises
From never writing down
What your heart really wants.
It feels too corny
To write something like that
Down on paper.
But don't knock it
Until you have tried it.
