Letting You Go
Can you walk away from someone you love
Can you change your lives completly
And begin life all over again
I dont want to give you up
but i know i have to
The time we were together
The things we did
Its all over
I cant go back in time and hold you any longer
We have to move on and heal our hearts
Maybe we will meet again
Maybe we wont
One day things will be right
And if were meant to be
Our hearts will fall all over

Mother
Its been a journey
For the two of us
And today im finally 18
Its time for me to begin a life of my own
But dont think for a second
I'll ever forget you
You raised me good
Through all the bad
You did a good job
So dont think you could have done better
If you think i hate you
Listen good and well
I may not have said i love you too much
But that doesnt mean i dont
I wouldnt be here if it werent for you
I may not have been that close to you
But again that doesnt mean i hate you

Father
Its been long and hard
For us both
And i finally made it
The time has come to begin my life
And its time to let go and move on
I just have one last thing to say
So please just hear me out
Just like with mom
Dont think for a second
I'll ever forget you
You raised me the best you could
So dont think you could have better
Your a good father look and see
It is also because of you i am here today
And just to clarify it all crystal clear
I dont hate you i do love you

No Longer Inside Of Me
I sit here on the ground
The tears running down my face
The memories flowing through my veins
All i can feel is the pain inside
I hold the blade over my small arm
And think to myself
Whether or not to slide it across
When i couldnt take the pain anymore
I slide it across
Watching as the blood ran
The rain washes away the memory of him
Along with the blood he gave to me
The blood will pour and pour
Until it could no more
Once his blood is gone
I'll be able to rest
I'll be able to move on
I wont stop until its gone
even if it means i have to die.

Already Gone
A warm day
Sometime in May
As the sun begins to rise
The heart of a girl suddenly dies
A small ring was found
Right beside her on the ground
The two were around her neck
Were found out on the deck
Her body lays beside the bay
Her baby later in the day
His shadow passes the soul he takes
They rest in the center of the shallow lake
The day is coming to an end
The sun rises on the other side
For a father the search is on
At the end a mother tells the father to search no longer
She says i have some heartbreaking news
She crys and says John they're already gone

Leaving Is Hard
When i needed help the most
You were the one to help
Its been two years now
And i have to go
I kept telling myself i can let go
I can go and move on
But the truth is i cant
A bond has grown between us
Ill have to go sometime
I thought i could go now
I thought the bond wasnt that strong
But now i know its a mistake
The bond is too strong
I cant go yet
But i cant change it now
This is the last day
Papers are final
I didnt know how much you meant to me
Until these final moments

Her Last Breath
You had six months to live
Not three weeks
You lay here motionless
Thinking of what to say
I stand beside you
Day and night
Wishing it could go away
She placed her hand in mine
And said her life was good
She had lived long and well
Her hand shakes as death nears
I hold her hand tight
As tears run down my face
As she took what was her one last breath
I feel my heart break
She turned and said she loved me
As her eyes closed
And her body was left lifeless

My Way Out
You brought me into this world,
Only to tear me apart piece by piece.
I'm nothing but a toy to you
An i will never be anything more.
You left me alone all on my own
the cuts left from you hurt
they burn melting me inside.
You left me for dead
knowing what would happen
I wish you could see me,
Just turn around and see me cry
An realize the damage you have caused.
I look around praying you will be there
Just so i can say good bye.
I take a blade,
and force it through my beating heart

Decision
I loved you only you
Then our love was fading
Because a person can't accept us
We both believe its over
And that night another took my heart
He went from my friend to a lover
He kissed me a few times and the night ended
Only today we realize were together
We kiss but what do I do
I can't be with you isolating my love
