Don't
Don't spend too much
time in mourning.
Tears are for the sad. I left
to be with Jesus, and
this should make you glad.
Don't waste your
hours in grieving.
No need to feel distress.
I'm tired of life's frustrations,
and had to get some rest.
Don't vex yourself with
questions, or try to reason why.
Life here for me was ended;
it came my time to die.
Don't lose the love I gave you;
feed it with your care.
Grow it with devotion and
spread it everywhere.
Don't fret because my leaving
came in such a way.

God's Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, ‘Peace bethine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

The Welsh Rugby
The Welsh have feelings about rugby
No other Nation can describe
They sing all their rugby songs
To keep the game alive.
We hate to lose at rugby
And cannot stand defeat
Their songs are sang much louder
As they stand out of their seats.

The evening star
Beam of the lonely eve! thou comest forth
Upon thy little cloud of silver hue,
Laughing like mirth, within the welkin blue,
While night sits darkly in the silent north,
Or steals with viewless step around thy charms.
Spirit of twilight! cloudless be thy sway,
Before the warm morn folds thee in his arms;
Sure peace is in thy dwelling far away;
Thou stand'st unshaken by the world's alarms,
As if some angel from thy twinkling ray
Look'd out, to woo the other gems of light,
That brightly sparkle on the veil of day;
Thou walk'st so cloudless with the queen of night,
As if she long'd for aye to have thee in her sight!

Goodbye my friend
Though we never know
Where life will take us,
I know it's just a ride
On the wheel.
And we never know
When death will shake us
And we wonder how
It will feel.
So Goodbye my friend.
I know I'll never see you again.
But the time together
Through all the years,
Will take away these tears.
It's OK now - Goodbye my friend.
I see a lot of things
That make me crazy,
And I guess I held on to you,
You could have run away
And left - well maybe,
But it wasn't time

Leaving you
Leaving you will be so hard
I know that we will be scarred.
Through the years we have grown up
Now we are about to split up.
It hurts me inside
To know that you will confide
In someone else who isn't me
But they will never be what I try to be.
I'll always be there for you
And I'll always stay true.
You are a part of me
That everyone will see.
You are my sister and friend
And we'll be that way until the end.
Don't ever let anyone take my place
Because they will never face
All the times that we've shared
Even when we never really cared.
All our memories will be locked up tight
Even all our stupid fights.

True Welsh
We talk about our origins
For some they are unknown
We talk about our grandfathers
And the places they had grown.
We ask about our Welshness
This is right close to our heart
But we need to go back centuries
To make a truthful start.
So many of our ancestors
Did travel many miles
Some came from Ireland, Scotland, England
And across the waters miles.
They came with hope inside them
To get their families better wealth
But many had employment
This ruined their health.
So as long as you were born in Wales
Keep it closed inside your heart
For you possess the passion many want

Footprints in the sand
One night I dreamed I was walking
Along the beach with the Lord,
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there was only one.
This bothered me because I noticed
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord, “You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed you,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed during the most trying periods
Of my life there has only been
One set of prints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
Have you not been there for me?
The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints

Black Heart
The pain, it hurts it rips and tears
Unstoppable, but I don’t care
All the lies about me, all the tears that have come
They're all from you and that thing you’ve become
Don’t you remember when we were young and small?
All the secrets we shared, do you remember at all?
Now my hatred for you is growing strong
Every insult you throw, is it really so wrong?
That your face makes me shake
How much more can I take.....?
Now, do you see what you've done?
This happened to ME, congratulations you’ve won
Now are you glad that you killed me inside?
Because now I wish I had really died
Of course you don’t, you’ll never know
All the pain and suffering I’ll never show
My heart isn’t mending
Because of all you’re bending
It’s form slithering back
Only now it’s black……

A friend most true
I need to know if you’re my true friend,
will you be by my side until the end?
Can I tell you my secrets deep,
and trust them in your heart you’ll keep?
We are neither of us without our flaws,
can you accept mine as I will yours?
I’ll be a shoulder to cry on when you’re blue,
will you be there for me when I need you?
No matter how busy I will make time for you,
if you are busy will you make time for me too?
I will take your hand and comfort your tears,
will you hold me and soothe my fears?
I will give you joy and many warm smiles,
can we share that even across many miles?
I will not forget what’s important to you,
will you remember what’s important to me too?
With you my most favourite things I’ll share,
If only I know do you truly care?
If you can accept me as I do you,
then I will know you are a friend most true.
