Ghosts Of The Sea
Calyx of forgotten souls
Crushed in the labyrinth
The sea whispers with ghosts
Cold night of the mariner
I hear the sigh of time
Every cry a breath of starlight
These dreams wash ashore
All your shelter leaves you
She fades like a winters day
No footprints along the tide
Seagulls circle golden history
Baroque poetry elegant as blue
Royal blue filled with radiant love
Ambiguous as the free will
Hard like diamond sextant notions
Under the sea my heart shines
Do we belong too one another?
Will the eastern sun bring us home?

Where Is The Outcry
Leave your dog without water or food
They call the cops on you for cruelty to animals
They don’t even let cattle graze
We feed them corn and create salmonella
Stuck in pens full of feces
Chickens in pens so crowded
Chickens with growth hormones
Chickens with broken bones from quick weight gain
Lets get back to free range chickens
Where is the outcry?
Pigs are smarter than dogs
Some never even stand up and are baby machines
Horrible cruelty to animals
Where is the Christian outrage?
Where is the outcry?
We take wetlands

Caves Of Dharma
Out from the caves
Kelp shores in the moon
We wait
Crying like falling stars
Hollow caves filled with time
Sisters with courage
Sisters wanting open fields
We are not going back
Bold as golden lions
Recovered from the incest
Severed from the chauvinism
She smiles again like azaleas
Eastern lanterns bring free winds
Out of the grip of gargoyles
Out of cold stone religion
The God of the cross reaches
Personal relationships replace ritual
Her dog runs along the sea

Kings of Sleep
Pyres burning like Viking swords
Flashes in the sun of giants
Supple nipples that rule my fire
Deposition of turquoise legacy
Regal eagle wings spread golden
Green fire in the mystic forest
Bury the feathers and pain
Let the blue rain fall gentle
Weep for noble shamans
Children of the hunted
Sirens of the stars
Sundials raise ziggurats
She comes to me with centuries
My tongue laps the waters of Venus
Frozen years melted by golden showers
Rainbow words swell the clouds
The dead have traveled far
See the haunted rivers?
Streams of bloody tears

Jerusalem Is Surrounded
Pageants of gray wolverines
Fallen flowers with synced teeth
The flattery of Persian armies
Minced dreams deep in frozen water
Everything wanes into ashes
Motion of thrills without base
Islands of cement still as enemies
Foghorns are my only poems
Sinful roses fade like winter
The times of freedom diminish
Persecution from the will to power
Esau has brought his curse
The bells no longer dirge
They have buried my desire
We approach the mountains
Towers of self-indulgence
Every minaret is now my enemy
Tolerance cannot bare intolerance
Underground in caverns of catacombs

Eternal Wings
Sublime wings shall reach your haven
Laced in humility with fertile glow
Ravenous heart caged in apathy
Escape into cloudy eyes of sweet blue
Surrender in vulnerable adagios
Relished in fervors voluptuous hands
Roister while Robespoire plans
These temporal paradigms die
Hold on too vernal jewels
Rise with swelling tides
Ride evening moonlight
Pledge your allegiance to azure
Gloves from temples of stars
Nexus of changing axis
Surrounded by flowing gardens
Hold me like the hands of the wind
Change replenishes the coffers of soul
Deep answers too deep
Eternal crystal sighs whisper

City Soul
I am the walking city
The breathing collective
The art of day and night
The ideals riding to work
Labyrinth filling minds
Streams of consciousness
Grief groups and AA clubs
Stores and sales
Crafts and precision
Schools and design
Immigrants and dialects
Rap, blues, jazz, classical
Colloquiums, technology
Invention, pollution
Tea and don’t forget coffee
The city needs artist
Beautiful mad city
Cavalier yellow gold morning
Paint your canvas with hope

The Present Tense
Across the street time stands still
The past shines in quiet eternity
Light makes its way down the ancient path
Every moment caught
Every gesture
Every smile
Resolution inverted
Dawn rises from night
Stare at old photos with tears
There we were together as children playing
Resolved in gentle child minds
Gentle with the spirit of the wind
You went first
Now I am left to deal with the past
Letters on a gravestone
How I miss you
Sorrow the universal bond of time
Brazen tomorrow is in every decision

Faith
Questions about the seen and unseen
How far can science really reach?
Darkness plagues us under the sun
All our life we know death will come
Mortality defines our precious time
The universe is there we can't deny
It is practical to assume a first cause
All we gain can so easily be lost
By knowledge we can never know
Which way we should travel and go
By revelation God reveals his truth
To those that hear his good news
Materialism says its all a big wager
The bible says it is fallen nature
Philosophy says change the situation
Gods love brought a cross of redemption

Gems of Love
Sea of stars spread Scarborough wings
Bright axis where bucolic light sings
Halo of ice shimmers like azure fire
Kyanite shelters unfettered desire
Bright night snow like tanzanite romance
Blood blossoms tribes of ceremonial dance
Ribbons of Anglo Saxon beryl
Chimes ring throughout the world
Music incarnates living crystal ghosts
Spanish soul dreams hot onyx rainbows
We celebrate virgin forests of time
Bamboo thighs ripe with topaz and thyme
Amethyst heals the euphoric citrine
Pearls garnish the shaman seas
Butterflies in valleys of color
Your dress of lilies and heliodor
Children dance out of emetine centuries
Celebrate velvet parrots flying free
Every dream peering in the heights
