Cupid has many arrows
Some wait for Valentines Day
I go where the river flows
Where waters drown me
Do you wait for perfection?
Perfect lovers are so dam boring
She flies with dark daring wings
She hides in castles lit in candles
Now the moon sings like the wind
Nestled in a book where vampires kiss
Moonlight thru the window
Silk and satin stairways
Dungeons and gold ankle chains
Sometimes Cupid plays the Doors
Play that song again and turn it up

Loyalty
Jewels of meekness
Serenade the lonely heart
Her dignity is a shawl of blue light
Close to faith in her pain
Gentle as a sapphire night
Warm with rubies in mystic fire
I will never be on the outside
I will always read your words
I shall send angel flowers
You have touched me my friend
We are alike
Broken yet resolved to do good
Abstract kisses are still sweet

Universals flow in time

Burning forests shy with myths
These Borg armies crucify
Time freezes like crystal eyes
Run my love deep inside
We are hunted by our own minds
The very air is sullen
Plowed tribes of dried blood
Meadows of silent revenge
The earth invocated
Enemy of snake eyes
These boots walk like Ulysses
Energy fields with a plan
My friends beckon me to go
Dying before your time
Religions of the state for funerals
Little cards for mementos
These ice hands reach out

The high tides sweep the soul
Washed with golden branches of joy
Ships of Orpheus sail
Decadence has blended
We can be Holy
Your silk is smooth as kisses
Great wet kisses of magnolia serpents
Blue green sea with bright waves
Prayer rises like ancient fire
Time is a muse of Eve
I am the walls of agates
Rocks cleansed by the tide
Eagles come again to my dreams
Your rings are wet

Scientific angels help me create
Amygdule, hippocampus on fire
Neurons and neurotransmitters
Wonderful serotonin and endorphins
Frontal lobes like an executive branch
Diagnostic centers where logic blends
Limbic system and neo-cortex
Neuropath ways filled with emotion
Comprehending feelings
Poetry is chemical my friends
Take your vitamin B and C
Let the amino acids flow
Dopamine and the quiet pensive mood

Cambric calico sighs in her rejoicing meadow
Fields regal with tethered rainbows
No portraits or sea of gold
Just a very warm welcome
Joy is a priceless fruit
Come laugh like waterfalls playing
You are precious beyond summer apples
Leave it all behind like a ghost
All is forgiven
The Lamb of God is calling

Your hair in the wind
Your tears dried

Quiet room flows with life
Prayer is a Christmas fire
No forlorn currents of strife
Hope kindles noble desire
The world is amidst the stars
They swirl with joy above

The serious run deep into their minds

Life and Dreams
When life and dreams collide I pray
First things first straightens my path
When God is not first idols reign
Our own vanity rains our wrath
The pearl of great price must rule
Emotions need a guide that’s true
Life consists not in abundance of things
We are temporal heading for eternal love
Do you want the peace that God brings?
We must seek the high things above
Dreams are meant to be stepping-stones
