Faces

I cant read faces but i can read yours;
I know it when youre sad or happy,
not through your smile but through your eyes;
and the lines of your forehead,
and the lines of your cheeks...
they tell your secrets and then mystery unfolds.
The beauty of your chin...and the lines of your lips,
they tell me of something that hasn't been told.
Sometimes you laugh, but you're empty inside...
sometimes you frown, but your heart glowed with pride.
Sometimes serious, but your face
has something to hide.
I know coz your eyes tell me everything,
everything within your soul.
You have so many faces...
and i wonder if the world knows.
I wonder if they can read them,
or see what you conceal..
I wonder if they can see your mysteries...
secrets to steal.

x14-Lips of the Grave

(I suggest you read first the 'COLD WATERS'.3rd)

-Lady Rose Stevens-

The grave has a clever way of keeping secrets.
I stood here as I watched you
Swallowed by the earth.
How and why… I only knew.
I knew the grief you took away with you.
And it hurts like hell to see you go,
as I felt the guilt inside me flow.
The world doesn’t know why you died…
as tears and fears you always hide.
You always had your sweetest smile,
as you walked alone the street for awhile.
I never should have taken your lover away-
As though the lips of your grave
Has something else to say.
But then, goodbye - I have to go.
And let our secrets be buried with the sorrows.

Ironic Life

How Ironic life is...
I smile- but the madness of a dying soul was written on my face.
I laugh- but serene sadness was painted on my eyes.
I talk and talk but hide the secrets
till i found myself in my own silence.
Silence is pure, but silence poisons the soul.
See me now broken as you made me whole before.

How ironic love is...
I drank the cup of Love
though i know it is poisonous.
Now i lost the man i loved the most.
And our story is lost in silence,
lost with the wind.
I cant remember how happy i had been.

How ironic love is...
he who survives me, snared my soul;
with a snare which bled me to death.
There is something about death like love itself.

Adelaida

She's a flower in the desert
thirsting for the living water;
Her petals start to fall
with the burning sun scorching her,
the cruel sands hurting
while the wind is merely blowing.
You could see she's all alone -
a flower in the desert.
You could see her tears flowing,
making her alive -
for all those years she tried
to hide the pain she felt inside.
She never knew her tears,
sweet tears is making her alive.
Of how strong she was,
she never knew.
She watched herself as petals fell and flew -
even her broken heart fell...
but her contrite spirit cried in mighty prayer
to Him that's waiting for her prayer.

1 John 2: 8

At the back of her mind...was a man.
Somewhere in the roads she walked before.
Those dark roads of her life-
she paused and turned back.
There was no one there...
darkness covered the path.
Is his shadows hiding over the face of the night?
Or perhaps he was gone as was the light;
I wonder...how she must have felt
that the man she lived for
is now a memory she doesn't want to remember.
Had she wept? I know not.
Perhaps... or perhaps not.
For when I saw her stepping out of darkness,
I saw the smile in her eyes.
I'm certain it was joy that was written on her face
thinking she will never walk those roads again.
I looked away from her brown eyes and said to myself:
I'll never walk those roads again...
The darkness is past, the true light now shineth

x15-I Saw My Death

-Jane Spencers-

My grave has kept away my secrets.
The leaves are greener, the grasses-taller.
I heard you talking to me
with your solemn tears...
you didn't have to say you're sorry
for taking away my cheers;
for taking away my lover...
for making it all over.
Coz it's not the reason why i died...
as this empty earth has always denied.
The petals had fallen, the waters had flowed...
leaves are greener, grasses standing on the ground.
I saw my death when I saw his face-
how it glowed when he looked at you deeply;
he looked at you the way he never did to me.
I saw my death when I saw his smile-
he smiled beyond his heart when
he smiled at you sweetly...

Helaman 14: 31

When the heavens cast their eyes on me,
they cried - I felt their tears on my face;
their tears, they drench me...
and I felt cold.
When the stars cast their eyes on me,
they fell - and I was left in darkness
with the ringing evening bells.
The moon, when she cast her eyes on me,
she died - and was buried in dark clouds;
I was left alone and homeless...
and thought I might as well die;
for the evening bells are ringing...
the heavens - they're still crying.
The stars are all but fallen.
But no, I'll never stay in darkness.
I cast away the dark clouds in my thoughts
and looked up in the heavens.
They still cry but their tears are sweet -
I smiled and felt the tender coldness
it brought in my weary feet.

Dont Look Into my Eyes

A sight of ocean rising in ceaseless waves
against the sky troubled the moon
as she slowly turned around to see me
die everyday just to live longer,
and found me lost everyday
just to find my way home.
You tried to look into my eyes
as though they were some paintings...
to see the beauty, I know not;
to search what's inside
though I know clouds there are not.
And everytime you do, I turn away;
just like a fallen leaf on the ground, I never stayed.
Your tranquilled passion pushed through
you asked me why;
as if for a moment, reasons would surely justify.
But no, dont look into these eyes
or try to search something thereby;
you'd only see the prison I made for myself
after he went away.

Sad Surrender

Woman1: I have everything but him.
Woman2: I have nothing but him.
Woman1: My only mistake was letting him go.
Woman2: I wont make that mistake, no.
Woman1: My life is a wasted life without him.
Woman2: I wont have life at all without him.
Woman1: All you have is love and all I have is pain.
Woman2: All I know is that all I have is him.
Woman1: He's the only one who'll make me complete.
Woman2: He's the only one who makes me live.
Woman1: I am dying for him, I should have him.
Woman2: I'll be dead without him, I must have him.
Woman1: I'd give up everything just to have him back.
Woman2: I will never ever give him up.
Woman1: You would have never known him. He loved me.
Woman2: You should have never let him go. He loves me.
Woman1: I'll do everything, he'll love me again.
Woman2: I'll do nothing but love him.
Woman1: (Wipes her tears) I thought love is fighting for the one you love...
Woman2: I am fighting now for him.

x13-The Petals Shall Fall

(I suggest you read first the 'COLD WATERS'.2nd poem of DEAD PETALS)

-Dylan Blayne-

My heart pained the very first moment
that I looked into your eyes.
How I want to take that sorrow away,
to turn it to the skies…
why, the moment I saw you,
how I long to take your heart.
Though I rushed to pluck petals
to wipe away your fears…
you’re gone as though you’re drowned with your tears.
I knocked at your door,
But there was no answer.
I entered as a strange feeling
rushed through me deeper.
I called after you but all I heard
was rushing waters.
And so I looked for it and found you
