Truth Comes Dropping Slow
It rained love...only love
but the rain didn't hear
the lamentation of my leaves,
I grieved for truth.
I craved for truth as it were blood
to paint my petals red again
and heal my wounded heart in pain
that's wounded by the rain.
For every dropp of love was like
a dagger piercing me...
pushing me to death as though
life's death is just a play.
I've gone astray -
searching for the truth;
only to find my petals
slowly kissing the ground
because truth comes dropping slow.
I cried till tears became my blood
yet truth comes dropping slow.
I died and found no truth in my grave

We Only Have Tonight
Forget tomorrow, we only have tonight;
waste not a time for future
when it dies helplessly.
We never need to hope
for something not in hand...
for tomorrow is a dream
and tonight is reality.
Forget tomorrow when we only have tonight.
Kiss my eager lips as if tomorrow never comes;
Never slip a moment of our precious time
thinking what to do tomorrow.
For tomorrow is a dream
but tonight is reality;
so hold me tight as if tomorrow never comes;
Never waste a moment of our precious time
hoping what to hope tomorrow;
So please, forget tomorrow
for we only have tonight...
love me purely just this moment
as tomorrow comes never.

Candle and Flame
I am a candle and you are my flame-
without you I am nothing
but a world without sun.
We are one as though some past destiny
has bound us like a woman to her man.
You knew that with one touch from you,
I'd melt my life away.
But then you kept a distance
even though you want to touch me not just once.
You look at me one moment
with burning desire in your eyes...
and for another moment you closed your eyes
as though you wished your heart could lie.
And then you stare at me
as though you have something to say.
And for another second you curse yourself
and wished you could go away.
You never knew that I am just a candle
and you're my only flame.
And that without you,

I Miss You
Whatever heaven it is in your eyes,
I saw it promising beneath the lies.
Although it still is heaven, or hell
or whatever it is...your smile confirmed it all;
that whatever befalls my heart will fall.
So tell me what lies within your pretty lips
that caught me off guard-
tell me what lies within your pretty smile
that captured my soul apart.
Whatever paradise it is in your eyes,
I saw it glorious inspite the lies.
Although it might be heaven, or hell
or whatever it is...your tender look confirmed;
that when I looked back at my heart...
it spoke the words untold.
I miss you.
I miss the heaven I found in your eyes,
in that extraordinary night.
I miss the paradise in your eyes
in that simply glorious night:

a Little While Eternal
Tell him i love to make these words
a song with his luscious lips...
and make the rhythm of my heart
be mellow music to his ears.
I'd love to make every moment with him
a little while eternal...
dancing and singing-
laughing, whispering
till the stars will slowly fall.
Tell him I love to make these lines
a love poem with his earnest smile,
and make his heart be sunlight
to my darkest sky.
I'd love to make every minute with him
a little while eternal-
feeling and loving...
smiling while kissing
till the stars will slowly fall.

My Willing Prey
As if a hungry lion could tell the lamb
to stay away and run,
I could not to you.
How could I? I need you.
But needing you means leaving you none-
taking away your heartbeat
till you can breathe no more.
As a deadly snake could not turn away
from a helpless child,
I could not turn away from you;
for how could I? I want you.
But wanting you means wanting you tied
to the wide chasm of eternal sleep
till you can dream no more.
Should a destroying angel pass by the soul
so eager to be kissed by the lips of death?
I wish I could, but I could not to you.
How could I? I love you...

x19-What is Right Then?
-Jane Spencers-
The leaves are greener, taller are the grass.
Birds do often come and go
as seasons never last.
Would someone tell me
the way of life?
Coz i see it cruel-
in my own perfect sight.
What is right then?
Prolonging the pain...
or ending it?
Hurting so completely...
or feeling ease inside?
Fighting for a love that's dying...
or surrendering to the fight?
The water is cooler as it ever was...
Trees do wither, petals die
as this cruel life never lasts.

Lost
Now I understood what it meant
to get lost in someone else's eyes.
To get lost is when you look at me
and suddenly the world grows dim,
there's only you... in perfect view.
I felt like a standing corpse
all form of life gone -
for in those eyes, so dark
I lost myself in you.
No word, no phrase could redefine
the momentum of what I felt.
No prose, no poem could best describe
the words left unsaid.
My heart wanted belligerence,
but my thoughts turned to air.
My heart turned numb, my lips lame,
I was lost beneath your stares.
Your steady gaze drew me to you...
they drown me into you
till I hardly breathe,

x20-Not Here
(I suggest you read first the COLD WATERS)
-Victoria Brown-
Jane Spencers.
You stare at that name morn till night.
Have you regretted what you've done
as grasses slowly meet the sun?
I hated since the day you're here.
I hated you for taking life;
as though you havent got spiritual fear.
The last minute of my earthly life
was spent for begging breath;
and prayers and songs and broken smiles
just trying to escape my death.
But then you looked at the face of death
as though you loved him so.
And I, who wanted yet to live
never had a chance though.
But why still cry? You chose to die,

Across the Road
To cross or not to cross
was all I thought
when I saw her face across the road.
Her eyes was set as though she lost her soul,
so lost like she is never in this world.
She never minded her shadow on the ground...
her watch as if to melt under her stare,
tic tacked not faster than her heartbeat
for she thought her head was on her feet-
At last, she looked my way
and her pretty face paled.
Suddenly she stood still as though
she gasped some air from death to life...
I can't escape her stare.
To cross or not to cross, I never thought
when across the road she merely stood
nearly meeting her shadow on the ground.
I closed my eyes- I heard the sound
of her crying heart, I found
myself walking away with the woman on my side.
