behind Teacher Eve,
besides Teacher Emelie
who's in pink
and holding Teacher Mary Ann
her bestfriend ever since,
who were also leaning
towards Teacher Tess
who's wearing blue blouse but smiling,
Me at the back wearing glasses
afraid to be noticed by someone.
beside me is Teacher Flor,
smiling as ever
even the absence
of her family,
infront of her is the preggy,
the lady in gray who's texting
even in the middle

A poem to my student Claire

Education is forever
a path to wisdom

Blue, yellow, red
color disguises to some,
it's difficult to understand

But there you are
on that poor wooden table
studying the certainty of the future

Sitting on a green plastic chair
of hardship, torture and uncomfort

Small cubicle glass
a size of a box
prisons all possibilities
of exploration

To little for a space
