Daily Love, Daily Bread
jesus and father above
daily let us love
this very pleasant way
in each other
every which way!
pleasure-seekers
honest and real
inspire us with passion
the best way to feel
fill others as stars in your skies
with your God-given erotic highs
love from the heart too
direct from you two
in us - your erotic mind
such sensual treasure we find!

Truth And Love
truth and love
hand in glove?
married pair?
if they don't get along
who's wrong?
is truth too cold, too rigid?
does love's reaction turn frigid?
is love too passionate, too hot?
does truth love reason so much
that she loves not?
love stirred well into truth
and truth stirred deeply into love -
a recipe concocted
by spirit within and Above

Ebba and Evelyn
88 year old woman
in a wheelchair
ebba by name
made simple meals
for her 60 year old daughter
name of evelyn
who had rheumatoid arthritis
curled up in pain on her bed
i gave her a bedpan
fed her
talked a lot
became close friends
ebba told me once
her own life had flown by
so fast! 88 years, almost over
ordinary housewife legacy
love for her daughter
small, plain women

Bill Bolin
bill was always himself
loved people
loved jesus
(quietly within)
loved him in song
even if he messed up
perceived to do wrong
you knew he liked you
smile and humor
humility too
in heaven now
smiling, cheer
sometimes i sense him near
no fear with God
risen from human sod

Sister Pals
vinnie and emily
sister pals
ordinary looking
yet internally fair
funny, irreverent
sister pals
i love those
dickinson gals
smart as a whip
God-natured as well
they sang together
the darkness
surrendered and fell
alive today
they sing in my soul
with Jesus and God

Work To Be Done!
my dad
was all about work
'there's work to be done! '
but he didn't have enough fun
a slave to his work ethic
i think it made him mentally sick
jesus doesn't say,
'work, slave! '
he's kind, gentle, brave
bear fruit, he says
naturally
via abiding in him
and his encouraging words
and let his caring, creative father
kindly prune you - trim
then!
more vigor!

Quiet truth
truth stands quietly by
watching the fabricators of war
continually distort and lie
as their countless victims fight and die
truth cannot be destroyed
or forever abused
political power impotent
to her invincible intent
impassive, eternal
she knows where liars go
consciences afire, burning slow
truth outlasts them, blow after blow
like the shining sun
obscured by dark cloud
truth is still quietly there
though mortal liars be bold and loud

Jesus ability
He's the Coach
i can easily approach
the Mentor
who sent her
(excellent spirit minister)
the Teacher
of this very human creature
a Friend
whose love
puts me and the world
on the mend
the Doer, Potter
in us, his clay
at work and play
Desire of nations

Thanks!
thanks to Jesus
alive from the dead
thanks for his words
daily fed
thanks to John
his closest friend
his words and friendship
he still does send
thanks to Mary's
one and all
loving, kind
always on call
thanks to David
and all the prophets
women and men
who easily know God
the world may think us strange

Animal freedom
nice to be an animal
free from worry and care
no possessions
no clothes to wear
no toothbrush or comb
sleep anywhere
no clock to watch nor time to keep
sun and moon with you, awake or asleep
away from it all
enjoying woods and field
no rush hour to negotiate
your animal spirit healed
mate with whomever
no marriage endeavor
'poor' as you both are -
on a wild date - gaze at a falling star
