a fathers Pain
heartbroken, the father stays away
questions unanswered, sorrow & Mr Cry, close friends
transition a blur, the two..
little Girl busted knee, son & Dad at play...
silent witness; triggers come unannounced
the mask readjusted- tightened against the rain
when all asleep, permission to open the gates, granted
silently workmates pass judgement
understands the father, accepts the sentences'
doors left ajar; spies there anger, the disgust!
head bowed, exposed! takes it all
himself still at a loss, a Tool, mindlessly, numbingly, lost
to this existence
comfort only, knowing those Children,
stable now!
'better off they' me not there, gone

Bottle Left To
selfishly i have held you....stolen i have,
one to many eager hands reaching,
at all costs they drain your contents, spill they care not
reluctantly, finally
to chance the bottle is set too
left to the ebbs and tides of the great wonderer
her treatment kinder then ours i hope
but still i ask-
how will thy travel.....all alone on the great expanse,
yearns-aches this heart not to be with you, beside you
where will you go, what will you see
picture perfect stretches?
or dashed broken, cliff face won

Ned Kelly Is Proud
It's a sad sad day...
Our land, being taken from us
No care for the future..
They; take and taking,
Government balls deep'n
the miners; shut up money
A beaut dummy!
What would old Ned think?
What would old Ned do?
Eureka; those Legends!
Young Ned grew up to, truly awed..
Those Old fellas swore an Oath
under our Southern Cross..
' stand truly by each other and
fight to defend our rights and liberties '
Ned and the Eureka mob; laughing at
you young fella's! Struttin around, pill poppin
Loose pizzles, Straight off the production floor,

Rain Cycleish
as thee splashes innocently, cadence steady, blue
prepare you do, this morning hour
journey don't know where; but deep within....
knowledge of eons guided
screaming, it vibrates
rising heat and beckoning, the great one shows himself,
reluctantly, strength demonstrated
with heroic acceptance;
thy simply goes forth
the eagle suspended, how he must feel your passage,
what token goes exchanged
grateful he, nothing from you want
enduring love is all he gives
unwittingly you provide:
shadow formed, an awning for all
save thy strength friend, not all can be quenched

Corp
frustrated and afraid i grow
our society in decline
discipline, personal responsibility
only few adhere to
how far must the pendulum swing
is this when, enough is enough!
learn we must from past misfortunes
our elders abused and taken for,
those locked rooms, monsters behind unchecked
horrors lived, compassion grow-ed, forced upon;
Justly! the Corporal dishonourably discharged
now, today- legacy apparent
our youth growing without
the Corporals watchful eye-
time outs, detention
stars to earn...
all to worry bout! ! !

found Love Letter...bugger
My Dearest,
I think this is meant to be! ....... a test! this will make what we have so much stronger. To yearn so much is testament to this.
Thru out history lovers have steeled themselves to this very task.
I ask you my lovely to trust me. I am yours! only yours! .........
I am sorry my love, lol... but i am not going anywhere!
I long to look upon you, into your eyes, into the well of your soul-This is where home truly is...I feel safe here, as I did the first time: -)
Just think my love you will be the one looking into the sky! ... waiting... I too will be looking and waiting.
I remember the first time we walked up our hill, my god I was nervous, were you? I miss our walks so much, when I walk anywhere now I look at my shadow.. imagining/expecting you to be there. When we next come together I think we will walk some more! !
I have looked upon your pictures many times and many more no doubt, but I find these are hollow compared to what I yearn for; your flesh, your smell, your compassion, your wisdom....
My baby, I am sad because you are feeling what I am feeling, it is growing and wont go away-what is it my love?
