Its Like Your Not Even Trying

its like your not even trying
yet i sit here smiling
for the words you say
send me away
your humor enlightens me
your sweet words brighten me
its hard to frown when your around
i love the way you make me smile
and how it only takes you a while
to make me feel so much joy
and how i know im not just your toy
now i know we can make it through
as long as you've got me and i've got you
