Life
Oh sweet life
what can thou be?
To me you are
a mystery.
We bring to earth
our tiny being,
expecting life
to be so freeing.
Only to find
it confines us so
that we may
never know
what sweet life
can be?

Two Sides To You
Make me laugh. Make me cry
but don't you make me wonder why
you're sometimes funny, sometimes mean
and the feeling I get is in-between
the happy go lucky guy you are
and the one whose words can leave a scar.

Silent Communication
A little boy sits by the sea
and wonders 'What's to become of me? '
The great big sea watches the boy
and silently says to him 'Ahoy,
When you are grown come with me.
Learn to fish and you'll breathe free.'

Love
Love makes you misty-eyed.
It makes you remember when you cried.
Love makes you wonder-eyed.
It makes you remember when you sighed
with contentment.
Love makes you sad-eyed
when who or what you loved has died.

Not The Same
Your picture's in my frame
and of course it's not the same
as when I had you here with me.
It could never be.
But without your image
what would I do?
I have no answer
for that my love
because I don't have you.

Death
Death should come
in a natural way.
So when we leave
we all can say.
Gloriously I lived.
Alas I die
and never think back
on the why?
And if death comes
from the harm of men
I would not want
to ever live again.

New Breath
The intake of a new breath
always gives me hope.
It hangs in the background
and helps me to cope
with every thing that is unsure
and so undecided.
And as I then exhale
I become excited
for the life that is anew.

History
History is sad.
It makes me mad
that we have learned nothing.
History is the past.
It goes so fast
and still we have learned nothing.
Today's not history
and so it's a mystery
why we repeat the same old nothing?

A Scent Of Love
If I could be enclosed within
a flower on your vest,
I would inflame your senses
and you could not rest
until you breathed my essence in
and you would wonder why
all that you can think about
is nothing else but I?

Man's Future
Somehow there remains
a little spark
to light up the universe
while things seem dark.
Let the spark ignite
and blaze again
for all good souls
and all good men.
We must lose the sigh
and never allow
the spark to die.
