All the bigots of today
never look the other way.
They're walking down a one-way street

One had money.
The other had none.
The one with money

Too many people talk too much.
They never take time to listen.
If they closed their mouths and opened up their ears
they might find out what they're missin'.

Sand

You touch the sea sand
under your feet.
You expect it to be clean.
For it's been washed
by so much water
that to me it is obscene
for feet to touch black oil.

The Difference

Love dies if it's not tended
for it fades away
and can't be mended.

Love blossoms when it's not mistreated
for when it's handled kindly
it cannot be defeated.

Sweet honey bees
caress each flower.

Who am I?

Spring is for lovers
where life is anew.

The grass is always greener on your side of the fence
although it doesn't appear that way.
When you cross to the other side of the fence
it becomes as clear as day.

Fishin

The yacht and the rowboat
sailed on the sea.
One for the rich guy,
the other for me.
I caught 6 fish and had some fun.
The rich guy was drinkin'
