Duck
It is a white duck
During the rains a band of ducks afloat
against the cloud laden skies
only remind of the duck
The duck that wings unseen in the morning
and in the night
carrying the sunbeams and moonbeams
in its roseate beaks
The duck that lives on light
The duck that is the mount of Knowledge and Wisdom

Japan
America bombed Afganisthan
Nature has taken by tsunami
The first proposition is one of report
The second proposition forces us
to exclaim -Alas Alas
When Danton was dragged to the guillotine
he exclaimed-Hi Robespierre When are coming?
Soviet Russia went asunder thanks to Chernobyl
Japan is reeling in trauma
If Japan is out of breath

Prisoner
Everyone, everyone of us
is a prisoner of knowledge
We are confined in the first floor
of a building
the walls of which are made of our knowledge
The walls are as impregnable
as those of a dungeon
We take the dungeon as an ideal place
We move about here as if we are free animals
But those who look upon us

A Prayer
the earth the skies and the beyond in short the world
the unconscious and th preconscious and the conscious and the beyond
they baffle our imagination and hence they do not exist
but in language
And language creates things that are impossible to comprehend
They are all nothing
n othing is our mother
there is a nothing inthe womb of nothing
wherefrom the functional world of touch and tongue sprang
I pray to that nothing in whose neighbourhood
all our crudities vanish-call it death?
Ipray to that nothing
May it enrich our wits
Have you never reached the end of your wit? I DO NOT PRAY FOR YOU THEN

Money
Money and its child Market
are Tungay the one legged Tatar and his son
They ravage the world- they banished the Sun
In the encircling gloom they ravished human heart
They have destroyed the tender values
and their fountainhead=Nature
Instead of the food
They stuff our body mind and soul
with dead leaves from economics
political science philosophy and science
and all that money could manufacture
In a dukedom ruled by the courtiers
Of Greed the world suffers from asphyxia
Co2 has made the blue deep murky
There will be no one to cry from the skies-
Hold!
And scientists have killed Peace and Sleep
They will sleep no more

Dullness
Dullness! I am your devotee
You dispel the darkness of enlightenment
You drive away the heat of excitement
I have got rid of my dreams and imagination
Even tiresome fancies seldom nestle near me
Living and half living I see both the worlds
The world of the living and the world of the dead
I see the enthusiastic marketing men rushing about
in motley robes
I see the wizened deadbodies who were once alive

Sit idle
Sit idle
Recline
languish
Recline on the sofa
The eyes will be shut
No thoughts no idea
No vision no dream
Does your back ache
Are your eyes getting heavy
Sink like a heavy weight

Where is Bliss
May be your children live far away from you
And you live in a folorn cloister
May be you are leading a life amidst poverty and dishonour
May be you are old and sick
If you know that your children are honest and sincere
If you know that their lives are an offering to humanity and Nature
You are in perfect bliss
Even if you are harassed and insulted
If you have to live in ignominy
In the deserts of Sahara or the cold of Bharkhayanask

Of the train
The whistles of the train
In the rains
Puts on a hat of black smoke
At its sight the frogs croak
On the edges of a pond
Where shadows of a banyan tree
Gambol with the shades of a Palmyra tree
And butterflies witness the exciting game
Being on their fragrant wings
The butterflies have drunken deep

The caravan of sleep
The caravan of sleep waits outdoor
My eyes are already red
They see without despite themselves
The caravan calls me
My eyes are closed
Now I am a captive
The caravan carries me off along the silk road
Now I am crossing the desert of Taklamakan
There are no birds in the skies
There is no trace of life on the earth
