Dawns Are Not All Poetry
Dawns are not all poetry in Calcutta
They raise the veil of the night
and dicover the ghetto that is civilisation
where phantoms of grief and greed
silhouetted in smoke and blood
pant and eat CO2 in sundry forms

Hope
Hope hops like a grasshopper
That seeks to visit Greenland
Where fairies and their kins
Dance on the ruins of melancholy notes
You will find them rowing small boats
As beautiful as the petals of a yellow flower

When the creation was not there
When the creation was not there
The darkness stood before its own eyes
A signified without any signifier
And the void burst in loud cries
Unlocking the untold treasure
That silence held in her indeterminate purse

Heaven
Grow old and be an old man like me
When you are surrounded by your grandchildren
Countless they are
You feel you are amidst the milky way
Floating and running
You feel you are the blithe spirit
Whose race has just begun

Light lingers
light lingers in the still of night when no star twinkles
and when no bells jingle
light lingers inthe fire of darkness and in the dungeon of loneliness
aloneness or all oneness is aglow with a light that was never inthe skies

A Tall Man
i saw atall man on the road
a crescent moon showed up in his matted hair
and i longed to greet him and i bowed
and he vanished into thin air
the crescent moon shot forth to the skies
it was the hour when the wolf howls and the hyena cries

A Crow
A crow winged to a woodland
And met a colourful cackling band
That met on the banks of Colorado
To listen to the discourse of Mr Bombadilo
Who boomed across the blue deep
In a white red maroon ship
Faster than light faster than sleep.

Gilgamish
A boy from Babylon
Went to London
And when he found that nobody knows Gilgamish
He fainted and his life ended
The story was printed
And the commentators felt that the Earth
was not as yet ripe for receving
The extra terrestrial intelligence

The electric fan rotates
The electric fan rotates
The wheels of the cycle rotate
The sun and the moon rotate
The planets rotate
Do all of them symbolise the same thing
Is the wheel of the cycle a dharmachakra
Do these whirlings and wheelings add to the music of the spheres

Thing Of The Past
when you know that you dont know
dont you know that you dont know
when you know that you cannot know
you know that you cannot know when you know that you know

it is a thing of the past
