Every time i try to talk its like you're never there
All the time try to reach you and I'm met with silence
Often I'll wonder if i committed some offense
I pray it's not because you don't care
Sometimes I feel ignored
But how could I blame you when I label myself abhorred
And believe the lie I want you to see through
Please don't believe the lie.... not you
Whether you do
Or you don't, I just wish you were there
Just wish you were here
Because I'm the one who makes the effort but your shoulder is cold
I'm the conversation starter, but I can't escape the fear
That you only talk to me because I talk to you, so I must wonder

The World...
This world watch it as it comes to end
we had the power to destroy it and we click the button send
we sent our messages we talked away
mumbling and stuttering both frustrated and alone like what did i say
but now this is where the mistakes meet
this is where the eclipse and the end greet
greet one another
giving us a war and a destruction like no other

but its too late now we were too slow

The Glorious Sun Has Set
Master Designer prepares his canvas once more
The glorious sun again reaching new shores.
An alluring aura, motion slowing down. .
Restless surroundings have calmed now.
In oranges I bathe and roushe rays I soak.
Blushing pinks basking, swirling in purple
Skies spinning a whirling spoke
O’er the horizon quite peaceful.
Amazement beyond words able to explain
Sentiment conveying the message in vain.
Desperate to remember,
Ink willed to stain paper.
Facing certain failure.
All these words no more than vapor.
Zealously writing to create a silhouette
Of this spectacular event, the sunset.
Splashes of color, strikingly they glow.

That Takes Guts
Dude what you do really takes guts
I want you to know that I have some serious respect
For the risk of coming to this country, it's not what you'd expect
It's a move of boldness and don't underestimate that
You left your home to live here dude be proud
Proclaim your faith loud
While you have this small window of ministry and missions
In a foreign country
Dude I can see the power of God inside of you
Don't worry about your english
Because God is fluent
Don't discount your knowledge of the bible

Duties, Regrets, And Big Upsets
Detrimental to life hardly... its not the end
but after so much regret and pain.. is this life worth it to mend
sit it out and wait
i feel like such things will not abate
this doom this end this death! mental, physical, or spiritual, death is death
Yet i am supposed to hope i breathe not life's last breath
nay i say to you
and i hope one day you may say it too
necessary to follow this job and complete said task
100% mandatory, why do you even need to ask
... maybe because some things are too much
and this thing is such
do you expect me to kill myself in one way
and life in others until i am dead in all
its rife now its rife pain, and ambivalence too plenty of that go away

goes pitter patter on my roof this does not make my life wain
this causes me no pain
its not being in an empty house all alone that causes hurt
its not having your face pressed deep in the mud or dirt
thats not what hurts. not even when i cry
cry....unafraid of what 'they' think i just cry not like cry
like im gonna die
just a little tear

What do you do when your love is suppressed
this time you don't want it to be and it leaves you depressed
how can i break a barrier larger than life
how can will i connect to her when the relationship is rife
with walls, we don't put them up or construct them but we submit to them
this is our anthem
it's not our love that lacks strength
but the problem here is the length
inches and centimeters and miles and kilometers away
our love is suppressed
by distance
each word I say
never uttered in person
and yet we live under the same sun
we're closer than can be

It seems like every time I sit down to write of you
That it's forced, it's negative, it's a battle, it's depressing too
But that's now how I want you to think that I think of you, because
I actually love you, just pause
And think, and remember that I tried to push you away

Salt Is.... Just Salty
There's so much in this world I cannot explain
The greatest scholars try in vain
Not because the knowledge is so loft
Not because we're growing soft
Nor because it's abstract
But in fact
Quite the opposite
Because some words there's just not a definition that can fit
The problem doesn't come from the objects
It's the simplicity that does perplex
Even the wisest of us all
Our logic does fall
Because it is so far below
How do we define the? What about slow
There's salt, and memory, and even know
What do we know if we don't know such words
People complain of jargon, taxonomic names for birds
But they can't even define what's simple
With that problem, man we got our hands full
