Call Of The Wild
Within every animal,
there is a wild side
that calls from their roots.
The savage survival side
that emerges when threatened
called the call of the wild.

Disappointment
We go somewhere expecting
more than what is there
and then feel disappointed,
but we carry on
hoping the next time
our disappointment will be relieved.

Pinocchio (Fun Poem 21)
Pinocchio was a wooden boy,
who every time he lied,
his nose began to grow.
What everyone forgets is that
every time he scratched his head,
he got a splinter in his finger.

Everyman’s Rose
Everyman has a rose
on a thorny bush,
a rose whose prickles
keeps us alive.
We are tempted
but we cannot touch
this rose that eludes
our heart so much.

Memories
Memories are something
We all hold so dear
The good and the bad ones
When they reappear
The good ones hold a smile
The bad ones a tear
Whichever one comes
We still hold it dear

Sunset
The sun is perched
on the edge of the world,
its crimson colour aglow,
beckoning clouds of the night
to wake their sleepy heads,
as it wants to rest
itself for another day.

Two Hearts
Two hearts that beat as one,
which is what love is all about.
Two lives that intertwine,
never wanting to let one another go.
This is the genesis of love,
an everlasting one.

Colour My World
Many colours
colour my world.
Blue,
when I’m feeling sad.
Yellow,
when I’m happy.
Grey,
on those days
when I am lonely.
Black,
when I am depressed.

Early Works - Words Of Wisdom
Never laugh at others heartaches
even though they may seem silly and funny
because one day their heartaches may be your own
and they will not seem as funny then.
