Wisdom
Wisdom is always granted
to the strong and willing
who want to learn
the secrets that lie there.
The knowledge of the Universe
and all that it commands.
All we need to do
to find what we seek
is to open our eyes and mind,
look around, and observe.

Sometimes Life Asks
Sometimes life asks us
too many questions.
Some we are afraid of
and others we cannot answer.
The ones we are afraid of
we try to bluff them through.
While the ones we cannot answer,
we make up answers
that are not all strictly true.

There is a key
to every lock,
and there is a key
to every heart.
That will unlock
the love that dwells inside.
The say that opposites attract
and that is only because
of the keys
that each one holds

Being Neutral
Sometimes being neutral
can be as bad as being at war.
When you have two warring friends,
you don’t want to take sides.
You are stuck in the middle,
an uncomfortable place to be.
So sometimes being neutral
is not a place you want to be.

A Foggy Morning In Portsmouth Town
Woke up this morning to find
a blanket of fog all around.
Some small lights were visible
in a landscape near invisible.
People that were walking on the ground
were swallowed up by the fog around
on a foggy morning in Portsmouth town.

We always remember,
the first time we fell in love,
and the first kiss that took place there.

The lonely candle sits in the window
like the guiding light of a lighthouse beacon.
A sentinel with a warming glow
whose fingers reach into the darkness
holding out hope for ware faring souls,
which in the darkness have lost their way.

Treasure each moment together.
You never know when
the moments will ever end.
Treasure each other’s love
to prevent it from
ever slipping away.
Treasure everything in your life.

With a heart that plays around,
it will never find some solid ground.
Always too busy to settle down.
