Molehills
Sometimes we make molehills
that trouble us
into mountains
that are not easy to climb.
The more we try to climb them,
the taller the mountains get.
Soon our strength
will give out
and we will be buried
under regret.

Good Times, Bad Times
Good times last a moment
bad times last forever.
The equilibrium between them
is unequal you will agree.
The good times should last
long into infinity
and the bad ones
should disappear within moments
and never return.

My Canadian Chronicles 14
I was enjoying a Maple and Walnut ice cream
when Danielle snapped a photo of me
enjoying the pleasure.
The criminal!
She then posted on her Facebook site
for the whole world to see,
me almost eating the bowl it came in.

Pussies (Fun Poem 114)
I never let my pussies out
especially after dark
because I know what
pussies can get up to;
they stay indoors
and don’t get into trouble
no matter what they say.
My pussies stay in all night
and its better that way.

Beyond The Point Of No Return
There is a point in every journey,
a point of no return.
Once you’ve passed it,
you have to carry on,
regardless how bumpy the road may be.
There is no turning back;
you are committed to finishing the course,
no matter what you see.

A Love Song
My heart sings a love song
whenever you are near.
It sings the sweetest song
for everyone to hear.
For those who know what love is
will know just what I mean.
For they will have heard
that love song
that so sweetly sings.

Wings Of Yesterday
Love flew by me
on its wings of yesterday,
left me stranded and alone
on the island of my dreams.
I looked at the forlorn sky
the question why in my mind
while the answers disappeared
into tomorrows prevailing winds.

Good Intentions
Sometimes we avoid telling someone,
something that might worry them.
We want to spare them worrying,
as we feel that might be better.
The problem is it hurts them more,
when they eventually find out,
what was done with good intentions.

Clown
To friends I may seem like a clown.
Yet every clown wears a mask
with a smile upside down hidden there.
A big teardropp painted on his cheek
hides the real ones there.
Clowns make people laugh
only to hide their own misery and despair.

Collecting
Some of us are collectors
and collect almost anything.
Sometimes it becomes an obsession
to see what each day brings.
Whatever we collect,
I can guarantee
there will always be
something we want
that is unattainable.
