Music Of Love
Listen to the music of love,
that seeps in from everywhere.
The rhythm of two hearts,
beating as one.
The murmurs of passion,
that consumes us all,
from time to time.
Listen to the music of love,
as it fills the air everywhere.

An Armada
An armada of colours
sailed up the Thames
not in anger, but in celebration.
Crowds lined the shores
and bridges they passed.
Music filled the rain-filled air
as they celebrated
a Diamond Jubilee of a gracious Queen.

Early Works - Trees
In fields of coloured leaves
there stand tall and noble trees
like statues in Trafalgar Square.
They stand straight and tall
with branches pointing
skyward in the air
these trees with noble flair.
Date unknown, probably 1960’s

Better We Do Something
If like the job you do
the better are the results,
where as if we don’t
the results begin to slack.
Better, we do something
that we like
as it bring out our inner joy
and our lives leave
sadness and despair behind.

A Refreshing Rain
A refreshing rain fell from heaven
to wash away what marred the land.
To feed the soil
and give new growth a drink.
A refreshing rain
to cleanse the air
of any impurities there,
this refreshing rain from heaven fell.

Early Works - The Naked Body
The structure of the naked body when it shows
is filled with a selected aura that glows
with skin like satin
that flows in constructive curves
around our muscles
and invisible nerves
with beauty no artist could define.

A Rainbow
In every life, there is a rainbow
with a pot of gold on the end of it.
It is up to us to see that rainbow
and find that pot of gold.
The difficulty is a rainbow has two ends.
The problem is then
to find the right end.

Light Of Love
The morning sunlight
shines through my window
like the light of love
that shines through my heart.
That beckoning light
that radiates out
for all my family and friends,
with its warm glow
to surround and comfort them.

If I Could Choose
If I could choose
from all the girls I’ve ever known,
my choice would always end
with you being my number one.
Some things are suppose to happen.
We can never tell when,
our destiny is always held
in someone else’s guiding hand.

Old Lost Loves
Memories come tumbling back
of old lost loves,
lost on the sea of life.
Memories recalling dreams
that were never to come true.
They are harnessed in time
to remain there ever more
now the perfect love has come along.
