Tethered
We tether our mind
in fields of our own making
never letting it stray
into fresh and greener pastures.
We limit our reaches
instead of letting our imagination
soar into boundaries unlimited.

We can search the whole world over,
but only a few of us will ever find
that love of a special kind.
The love that lasts forever,
even through eternity.
Everyone hopes to find it,
but only a very few ever do.

Euphoric Bliss
He takes he in his arms,
kisses her ruby lips.
The excitement of passion
explodes within the kiss.
They float on a mesmerised cloud
that consumes them
as bodies melt into one
in euphoric bliss.

Full Moon
The moon wore a halo
as dusk turned into night
and the nocturnal creatures
came out to enjoy the light,
an incoming tide
basked under the full moon light
as time moved on
with no rest bite.

Evaporate
Like water under the sun
evaporates into the air.
Friends evaporate away
under the toll of years.
Unlike the water
that will return again as rain,
friends return to dust
from which we all came.

My four walls are a comfort to me

Born Again
All lives revolve in circles,
we are born, we live and love
and as age grows on us
our times then comes to die,
but the circle is not complete.
It can only become complete
