I Am Not An Animal
I am not an animal
And I never was
Because from genes more noble
Came thus my human cause.
Beyond horizons finite
I soar eternal limits
To greater goals I set my sight
And success I will not forfeit.
Yes, all animals can be cruel
In many reasons, Man can be
But this one thing I can tell
Forgiveness in Man, is Reality.
The truths I have are logical
And from it I will not depart
Man is higher than animals
Because he has a bigger heart.

We Never Lose Our Mothers
We never ever lose our mothers
They just go and but remain in our hearts
They stay in the memories we remember
And not a day passes by we're apart.
She is like a mist in the morning
A breath of the breeze passing by
The warmth of sunlight softly touching
And the comfort of rain from the sky.
Mother's memories keep her very near
And the space is filled with her thought
Her love is the strength that we hold dear
From where we find the purpose we sought.
Happy Mother's Day, Mom.

When Eagles Fall
They will fall and not know why
Disaster ruled their beloved land
When Truth and Faith allowed to die
God released them from His Hand.
So They will crawl and eventually die
Their cries and pleas will be in vain
This nation lost, their God deny
Had pledged a partnership with Pain.
Their profane words that degenerate
Their cursive writing that sealed their fate
Like soaring eagles shot with arrows
Swift is their fall and much is their sorrow.

Be Happy, Fathers -On Your Day!
Be happy, fathers - on your day!
Like captains of the ship
Your homes you hold at bay
Anchored on the mateship
Of Love and oneness bound
Where cords of strength accrue
On what in you can be found -
A steward faithful and true.
Be happy, fathers - enjoy life!
Your children are given treasures
So be blessed with your loving wife
For together with them you endure
And when all else seem dark and lost
Hold on, as a father, be strong!
For the One Who made you knows the cost
He is with you as you journey along.

Anger Hurts
When you get angry, you hurt
Strangely but that's the truth,
For bitterness does give birth
To resentments as the fruit.
When you get angry, you lose
Disturbing nights, headaches
And lost appetites are the dues
That Anger and grudges take.
When you get angry, you wrinkle
Like a dried prune shriveling
Lines multiply, become noticeable
And before you know it, you're aging!
So friend, be angry for a moment
Go ahead and say your point
Then arthritis won't be your ailment
And no pains will plague your joints.

Life's Golden Nuggets
A friendly word that sparks a little hope
A hand to hold when on the downward slope
Care and love expressed in warm embrace
Makes light the obstacles in life one has to face
Someone there to listen and to share
When times are dark and all seems so unfair
To stand together in sun and sometimes rain
A shoulder there to cry on when there is pain
Yes, Life's golden little nuggets do not come
In bars of gold, but in small things their worth become.

Lovely Moon
I watched the Moon iridescent in the sky
The chilly wind of night embracing me
That enchanting orb had captured my eye
As its luminous light shown majestically
Laid on background of deep royal blue
Like fair giant pearl, it is Beauty enthroned
Lining its sides were dancing rainbow hues
The Moon's loveliness no star ever owned.
I watched fascinated, transfixed by the sight
The creation was awesome, so enraptured am I!
I thank the Creator of such magnificent delight
Yes, I watched His Moon iridescent in the sky.

Pointless War, Senseless Deaths
Twelve out of sixteen killed were defenseless
Nine were children, three were women
To kill them while sleeping, it makes no sense
But this tragedy is a really bad omen.
A Pandora's box of seething hate now opened
Damage control cannot cool down the rage
The gap has now irrevocably widened
The Dragon of terror is let out of the cage.
As pointless as the sands that grace the place
Flown by angry winds of lost directions
Such is the war whose cause we cannot trace
It is wiser to leave, lest Death take the options.

Expose (Octelle)
Are you the anodyne men seek -
Religion controlling the weak?
Masters of malevolence,
Hiding in Piety's pretense!
Your robes dipped Injustice's blood
Teaching vile men to play god!
Are you the anodyne men seek -
Religion controlling the weak?
'Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.' (Luke 6: 44)

Men Are Eloquent
Words are quite easy to say,
Hidden truth shows in the eyes.
Love expressed in flattery
May soon be revealed in 'Goodbyes'.
For men are so very eloquent
They speak of dreamy promises,
Emotions that were never meant
And sweetened lies lace all their kisses.
So be wary before it is too late
All women, you need to be wise
To avoid the pain and sad fate,
These truths you must realize.
When men say that they love you
But cannot ask for you to marry
Be sure that this man is not true
And his words are ever so empty.
