The Hand On the Nuclear Button
The hand on the nuclear button
Is held by a mind that is sick
The eyes that keep it focused
Is blurring and quite myopic.
What danger lurks ahead
If suddenly the brain has seizures!
Will the hand move past the head
And press on the nuclear fixtures?
Will that hand lose all control
And release the demise of earth
Blow us up, one and all
And burn even all the dirt?
The hands on their nuclear buttons
Have so turned a push to shove,
Their tempers have been turned on
Start praying to God above.

Retaliation
Perceived persecution births Retaliation
Its ugly tendrils grow and strangle Truth
Breeding seed from its vile Deception
Unaware of its own destructive fruit.
The cycle of Anger never really ends
It multiples in time and darkened force
Harvesting Bitterness and with no amends
It consumes the Peace of its very own source.
'A man reaps what he sows' as the Word says
Retaliation reaps eternal demise for those
Who deny the God Who judges all in His ways
And so seal their fate in the Abyss, I suppose.

Did They Die For You?
Why do you look at the sin of others?
What's the matter, did they die for you?
I know on the Cross, there was no other
Only Jesus Christ paid our sins, that's true!
So how come you keep on finger pointing?
Keep looking for the perfect believer!
How come you keep on with silly complaining?
Only Jesus is Perfect, He alone is Savior.
No one is righteous, no not one!
For all of us have sinned and have failed
If you record all the faults of everyone
Remember, on the Cross, only Jesus was nailed.

Godlessness in the Last Days -Reality
Famine, war, and destruction
Lack of faith and absent hope
These are the realizations
Where this world now sadly gropes.
For these were truths foretold
And these are written in the Bible
Writing about them unfolds
An awakening amongst all peoples.
For the earth is not a Utopia
A vague fairy tale of dreams
It is wallowing in a hysteria
Of sheer devastating extremes.
To write about these is tranparency
Being true to the call of the pen
Godlessness in last days, a reality
An Ezekiel call for all men!

Save The Girls, Not The Afghan Honor
It is appalling but a reality
Sometimes it makes us sick
To witness such human cruelty
So disgusting it defies logic.
This culture of social injustice
On innocent Afghan girls
Must be cut, totally abolished
Outlawed by the whole world.
Beating them up and maiming
When they refuse the marriage bond
Is beyond abuse that's sickening
It destroys the young of the land.
Young girls who refuse are killed
As the despicable fathers reason
It's a dishonor to him fulfilled -
What a warped culture he relies on!

He Gave Us Christmas
For God so loved the world
He gave His Only Son
That Christmas story we are told
The time when Christmas had began.
Yes, in that manger Christ was born
So named 'Jesus', He was Savior
Angels sang that wintry morn
As Heaven opened its closed door.
Forgiveness came with His grace
The Son had come to show the way
For all of us to see God's face
Truth revealed all of our days.
And we have Christmas, it is true
This season born from Christ,
For He came to save me and you
To die for us and pay our price.

Ambivalence #2
Ambivalence is saying 'No'
But all the time meaning a 'Yes'
A play of masks begins to show
An absence of pure Genuineness.
Ambivalence seeks to please
By never making a stand,
It dwells in Neutrality's ease
Its choices hard to understand.
A pendulum of hidden Ego,
A sway of thoughts prevailing,
Accepting every concept so
It gains prestige by people-pleasing.
Ambivalence has payments too
For in the end there is Life's scale.
We will be weighed by what is true
And Ambivalence, in eternity...fails.

A Blessed Land
A blessed land
Yields Abundance from its soil,
It mountains hand
Its people, Harvest for their toil.
A faithful womb
That births forth much Provision,
She's one from whom
We sow our bountiful nutrition.
Our blessed land
We pray God keep Her so!
And that we stand
United, together make Her grow.
God bless Her with Peace
His Truth upon Her, shine-
May the Grace that is His
Bless this lovely land of mine!

The Color of Our Skin
The color of our skin
Need not have shades of prejuduce
A tinge of biased thoughts therein
And hues of endless racial malice.
The color of our skin
Does not show our state of heart -
What we are, or where we've been,
Or the love we have there to impart.
The color of our skin
Does not show in our poetry
We write the human side we're in
And show the canvas of diversity.
We're thankful for these colors
And hope that people come to know
Whatever reasons our poems are for,
We are all colors of the rainbow.

Memories
Children have different memories
Of parents who pass away.
While some will forgive freely,
Others remain bitter each day.
Dead parents can't say 'Sorry! '
For failures and mistakes.
No tears can change life's story,
Forgiveness is all it takes.
Recycling and rewinding
The painful things of the past,
Do not add to healthy living-
And may not make our life last.
Let us close the door for the dead,
Let them rest and be at peace.
Remember the good things instead,
And our heartaches and pain will cease.
