Theocracy
Denial comes in handy
Responsibility is ugly
But the rule always stands
What comes up goes down.
What man sows, he reaps.
All good returns with good
In the end we come to grip
To where our actions stood.
Evil returns the poison
Corrupting the character
Robbing man of reason
And ushers in disaster.

True Friendship Here
An intangible bond
Crosses the distance
That separates our lands
And connects us by chance.
Embracing in words
From earnest counsel
With a friend of true worth
Bonds are parallel.
Woven sincerity
In a tapestry of care
Our penned repartee
Is a friendship we share.
Ribboned companionship
In written lives laid bare,
We find true friendship

War Business
Greed is into war business,
Arms sales are soaring high.
Profit billions in excess-
So what if people die?
Selling arms and bullets
For dollars and currencies
Let nations war -no regrets
The money brings prosperity!
Callous fools who make decisions
Creating war games that cost lives
Conspirators of world destruction
In death of men, their business thrives.

We used to carry books to school
But now they carry guns
Are bullets now the tool
For schoolwork to be done?
We used to carry books to school
Went there for education
But now some kids may think it cool
To shoot down confrontation.

But now in school, so many fools

This tapestry of life
I seem to have woven in years
Show colors that have blended
Through all the laughter
And all the tears.
Display the missing answers
Each part connected dots
A masterpiece of life well lived
In hues of memories
That I forgot.
Imperfect though it may be
This tapestry will hold
A portrait of all that is me

The Butterfly
How exquisite the butterfly
In silence he departs
Fleeting wings that say goodbye
Leaves unaware a loving heart.
How quietly the butterfly
Released itself from memory
Hidden tears that it may cry
Are buried deep in agony.
And still it hopes with each new day
To find the one to Love so true
In its short life till it dies away
To love and be loved is what it will do.

Finding My Reason For Life
In the depths of my despair
Drowned by endless nagging tears
My life in pain was laid bare
So lost in mounting fears.
Because of the ones I loved
With a strong will I made a choice
I turned to the God above
In surrender heard His voice.
Now I live for those who love me
And for the good that I can do
For life is not to be selfishly

Angry goodbyes can break our hearts
Quick words released, they can resound
And open doors where Love departs
Then fleeting Joy cannot be found.
But like the dove that flies back home
One word of 'Sorry' can bring healing
Like a second read of a much-loved poem
