I defy destiny

A prism
Of diverse colors
Intertwined
In mixed emotions
Released
In light, a burst of magic
In darkness
Shades become lethargic
Absence
Opens white and blue
Magenta, red, and green
Blended
Feelings left unseen

Payback Time Never Pays Back
Injustice plagues you,
Bruised with anger-
Disturbing it is true,
But there's the danger.
So you plan a payback
A sort of getting even,
You are seething for attack
And he will not be forgiven.
But vengeance gets you even
With the enemy it seems-

I watched in sheer amazement
At their lively repartee
Of such silent engagement
Discussed extensively
Expressed in small hand gestures
And eloquent vivid signs
Messages sent were sure
Relayed as they designed

If Life Was A Mega Lotto
If life was a mega lotto
And we all had sure numbers
What a mess it will be so
When we are all the winners!
No one to order from
No one to serve our meals
As millionaires we become
Our pride will thus reveal.
No one to shop for food
Or wash the car and fill it
Our wealth may not be good
All work we now forfeit.

It simply grieves my heart
