Rain Pouring Down
Rain pouring down incessantly
As thunder sounds in the distance
Announce the cool, washing of Earth
Soothe the soil and bring abundance.
Rain pouring down consistently
Reminds us of God's own Faithfulness
He brings forth growth continually
Harvest for man to feed and bless.

The Bible
For forty years I was blind
Till I read the Book where there I find
The Wisdom to live and do what's right
Your Words were Truth, they were Light.
They fed my spirit and guided my way
I now read my Bible everyday!

I Still Find the Roses Red
I still find the roses red
A dozen ones you placed on my bed
A time of long-ago Valentine
When my precious Love was still mine
I still find the roses red
But the meaning lost for the words we said
I thought the rose had a dropp of dew
I found it was a tear I shed... for you.

Just People
People can lift you up with comfort
People can bless you with joy
People can take you for your worth
But some people can hurt and destroy.
People can give you so much love
People can also give you pain
People can bring you closer to God
Some people cannot make you trust again.

To Sons Of Spring
Unite or perish
Escape from the trap
Set by the global lords
The land you cherish
Must fill in the gap
Work and give up the sword!
For you were fed a mirage
Of peace, by those elements
Of political discord
Arise and take charge
Of your governments
Freedom is not just a word.

Doubt
Is he really dead?
That is what they all said
Rejoice now you can shout
The Head of your terror is out!
But where is his body?
Why did you fail to see?
They promised they will post
Are you afraid of Ghosts?
And if he's really gone
Can you ask everyone:
Do you feel safe now?

The Strong and The Weak
The strongest man is he who has
Conquered himself and his fears
Subdued all the bitterness thus
He's released from the hurts and tears.
The weakest man remains captive
Chained to sad and bitter memories
Ruled by the Past that he cannot give
Love and forgiveness and have his Peace.

Gentle Rain
Have you ever
Listened to the sound
Of gentle rain?
Drink with eyes closed
A soothing lullaby
Music for repose
Like a baby's sigh
Sound so soft
With chirps of birds
That bathe
Unafraid
Of its wetness
Washed by
Gentleness
Touching you
With peace.

Her Unmet Need
Her unmet need
Perhaps the seed
Of hidden Anger
Destroying her.
Her need for care
At Home, not there -
Lived in a cage
To birth her Rage.
Pity the victim
Of vile persona
Erosion within -
A lifetime dilemma.
Pity the source
And hope she may
Reverse her course
For her sake, I pray.

Victor
March head high and never bow
To all of life's mundane suffering
Know that there's always a tomorrow
Keep your Hope and go on trying.
Trials come but they will go
For just as it never rains everyday
Persistence wins, this you must know
Your life's in your hands, don't waste it away.
