I Drown In Words
I drown in words
Because I cannot swim
In very long poems.
I'm lost in a maze
When the meanings
Hide in vagaries.
I can't see in dark
Uncertainties
Of narratives with no end.
But like a cat
Too dumb to run away
I think with Poetry
I will stay.

Plague more with endless searching

Fever
Joints feel like being crushed
And throbbing is my head
Hot temperature, flushed
Chilling, shaking, on my bed
Gnawing sore is my throat
Eyes are watery with tears
My nose can't seem to take in air
What kind of ailment is here

Dream of rain
Wash the child's own pain
Dream of sunshine
Make him smile again
Trapped in the net
Of terror, abuse
In anguished regret
A lost child let loose
This world must awaken
Let the evil be shown

I love the quiet of the night
When only little crickets sing
In unison with the gentle breeze
As leaves in trees go clapping
Their way to render praise to these
While flying bats go passing
