Return On Interest
Those who slyly offer
Service to the people
Demand a payback after
In office they are able.
They never want what's best
Geared only at their winning
A return on interest
From us they will be getting.

Wealth (Nonet Poetry Form)
Though I may not have many assets
My simple dwelling not that grand
My luxuries in life scarce
Work feeds the needs at hand
Sometimes life is harsh
Still I'm thankful
For my health
And kids...
Wealth!

Wander Heart, Wonder Woman
Fickle heart astray
That always goes on wandering
It is a waste of day
For the woman to be wondering.
Too many wander hearts
Break every bit of promise
Worthless love departs
Don't wonder, women please.

Freedom Raped (Nonet)
War grounded on Falsehood and sheer Lies
Devours the Leadership head down
Truth nullifies Reasons laid
Lost lives in mournful cries
As nation disowns
Honor pays price
Freedom raped
War crime
Now.

Knock, Knock, Knocks!
Murder in her eyes
Cold, calculating, cutting.
Innocence? Those lies!
Her life does the revealing.
Yes, she deserves the axe
No doubts, no jury lapses
True justice at last knocks
For wayward little Misses.

Parenting (Naani Poetry Form)
Unskilled at first in a work
with great demands,
Moved to Love and Care
The children, the blessings of their life.

Blackberry Blue
A distinct color
Is blackberry blue
Its blackness shaded
In silvery shine
Like Bahrain pearls
In deepest hue
Light changes it
Like sweet dark wine.

Even Love Can Get Tired
.
We have ran out of words
Surely ran out of time
Shall we now cut the cords?
Our poetry's lost its rhyme.
So sad to say I failed
To fill what you required
The pain has all been nailed
Even Love can get tired.

All Men Are Equal
No color is less human
No race above another
Red, the blood of all men
That's all we must remember.
No higher man above us
On earth we're equal thus
We treat each other as we must
With what is true, what is just.

The Dove
Elusive peace
Flies gently as a dove
It fails to soar
the heights with ease
Like the eagle above.
As vague as a dream uncaught
By the net of our memory
the peace that we had sought
Escapes us all...ever so quickly.
