The Women Dance

The Women Dance
The women dance they move the hand twere a man twould look so gay they bend and stretch they sway
they pirouette they even split while they are young they genuflect

they have some fun they never walk the women dance

Winter Is Dis

Winter is Dis
For the Safeway girl

Winter is discontent
Winter is unrequited love
Winter is in my heart forever
Winter is goes into spring
Winter is
Winter is my heart
Winter is the dart
You threw at me, Erline

I Fear No Snow

I Fear No Snow

I Fear No Snow

I am a man.
The snow no longer bothers me.
I am beneath it all,
My soul is not inside of me.
It leaves me when I fall.
As I lay here silently,
wating for the trumpet,
It will blow!
I do not any longer fear the snow.

Homeless Shelter

shopping carts are being pushed away
blankets are being carried away
sleeping bags are in high demand
tents are hard to fasten to the ground
i like it better by the church
the prayers of all the little ones
surround my head where their little feet were at
on a rug just outside the door
that is where i lay
a homeless
today

New Orleans II

New Orleans II
The battle of New Orleans
was fought with wind and rain,
no one won, but all have come
to feel the loss of home a homeless
person feels, he feels his loss
he feels his pain, he lives
from one day to the next
the same way and manner
all the rest of you do,
and sometimes better.

What does Poetry Mean

What does Poetry Mean
eye stepped outside myself and seen
poetry what does it mean
the smile on peoples face
the frown the deep dark secrets
they reveal to all the readers
be in health
no matter what you do
no matter what you have to eat
be in health
so eye can breathe
I lay down my life
for you
so sweet
this is what the poetry always means
the life
the love
the heart

Beloved...you're so far...

Beloved...you're so far...
Beloved... you're so far...
the distance of lightspeed to a star
away
Today
the love is not so far
away
Today
ewe are in my heart
to stay
Today
the distance seperates
only flesh and blood
the spirit that WE are
lives on
Today
Beloved..you're so far...
Today
reason for my being
reason for my kiss

Pain And Rage And Hurt

Pain and rage and hurt.
Erline has to feel bad too.da ya think//? ? +.

Pain the feeling of sorrow...
Rage the feeling of sorrow...
Hurt the feeling of sorrow...
The felling of sorrow is:
Pain
Rage
Hurt
Sorrow
The feeling is not bliss,
it feels something like this.
The absence of a kiss.
What you gave to me.
Instead of my love returned.
Instead of.
My kiss.

The Dragonflies Poem

The Dragonflies Poem
I saw the Dragonfly.
He was flying way up high.
I saw the Dragonfly.
Early in the morning,
early without warning.
Down by the water,
early without warning.
I saw the pretty dragonfly;
he was flying way up high.
I suppose they eat all day:
what do you think they eat.
I suppose they eat all day:
is it bread or is it meat.
I suppose they eat all day.?
No, not like ewe and eye.
We are the dragonflies.

Tardiness

late for class again
lamentations of the students

the bus i missed the bus
my dog ate my homework

i peed on myself and all over my papers
i was drunk

i tried to get religion but my brother beat me up
i almost ate a whole tray at the cafeteria

we have no time to go to buildings we cant visit
i fell and i cannot get up

the beer was in the keg again and i had twenty five dollars
there was a blind man using the free computor in the lieberry again
