Winter
It’s winter now, the time has come,
Temperatures are freezing,
Bare hands become quite cold and numb,
With gloves, the weather’s pleasing.
Christmas is around the bend,
Sorrow is now closing,
A fun time with gifts to send,
Pain has begun its dozing.
Snow falls gently to the ground,
Laughter fills the air,
Lots of smiles all around,
And grimaces are rare.
A brand new year has now begun,
Old promises renewed,
Another second chance is won,
Past mistakes conclude.

Full Of You
Closer to fainting with every thought
To stay awake so hard have I fought
When thinking about your immaculacy
My heart is lifted; I fly; I am free
Free to let my mind wonder the world of my dreams
But life is better than imagination it seems
How great this would be never I knew
My life so purposed and full of you
I try my hardest and do my best
That one day I might pass your test
Then we will live in harmony
My life, a mystery, but soon you'll see
Everything I have worked to achieve
Our destinies together interweaved
To you I could never bid adieu
You have purposed my life, I'm full of you

Persuit
There's not a thing I would not do
To stay here next to you
Hand in hand, through and through
Submerged in love so true
The story of our love anew
Each morning waking with the dew
Sometimes I try but can't astrue
How much I hope to mean to you
I'd sail the world to Timbuktu
Cross the Nile by canoe
Anything to be with you
Each day and night I would persue
You're better than all else I knew
I cast my cares, my heart then flew
No looking back for my love grew
My darling, I would die for you

Your Touch
In awe of your beauty
The allure in your eye
At the touch of your hand
My heart started to fly
Now in your embrace
And you in mine
If we stayed here forever
I'd be much more than fine
Your hair spun of gold
Your red velvet lips
Your adorable nose
Your splendor eclipsed
Yet nothing compares
To the sensation I feel
Less than inches apart
Your touch is surreal

Caught By The Hand
There is a place I have come to know
Where grief and anger tend to grow
I know well how to reach this place
While venturing though, I leave no trace
But many before me too have found
This path I walk, and in it drowned
For this path is rather misleading
One wrong turn, it's death you're meeting
But as I ventured along the way
Night crawled in and gone was day
I couldn't see and quickly tripped
As I sank, my hand was gripped
The grip grew stronger and before I knew
I was out of that pit, they pulled me through
But before I could turn to see their face
They were already gone; they left no trace

Guardian
Louder to him than the deafening cries,
Are the gunshots that pierce each man as he dies.
He looks about and sees the demise,
Of his once good friends and his trusted allies.
He was scared of death and fell to the ground,
Trying his best to make an audible sound.
He closed his eyes and held in his tears,
The fight soon ended confirming his fears.
He waited awhile and then got up,
Inside of a building, a bomb then blew up.
He let loose his tears, and in his mind he said,
I was a coward, I wish I were dead!
Watching the building, he noticed a child,
Helpless and trapped; that's when he smiled.
A chance for redemption, now was his time,
He ran into that building and started to climb.

First To The Finish
Last to the kill,
First to the finish.
Fighting until
The thoughts diminish.
Eternity on,
They linger so.
Never withdrawn,
They won't ever go.
Many were fighting,
All but few fell.
Surrender inviting,
I kissed it farewell.
Silent but quick,
Most fell away.
None were violent,
They just went astray.

Coyotes
Triplet coyotes
From the day of their birth
Desired the moon
And all it was worth
Providing them light
So at night they could see
Any dangers ahead
And be able to flee
All three loved the moon
And each soon decided
Too precious to share
Was the light it provided
The coyote first born
Snuck into night
And sang to the moon
With all of his might
