In Every Dropp Of Rain

In every dropp of rain
Lies a memory encased
Inside

A vision from our past
That will hopefully help
Our future

It may be a small glimpse
Or a wide and vast array
Of images

It may not make sense

But still we watch

Since the beginning
Of all that was

My Twin, My Sister

She's my rock
Always been there for me
Even before I was born

She's calm and steady
Usually
Unless her temper gets the best of her

I don't know what I would do with out her
She brings out the best in me
If she is ever taken from me

I'd be lost

My sister
I will always love her

Dare I love you?
Love someone as wild as the wind?
As unpredictable as the shifting sea?

Dare I love you?
Will you stay with me?
Will you hold me close and never let me go?

Or will we slowly drift apart?
Will our bridges crumble?
Will you break your promises and walk away?

I can't help but think
Will you hurt me?

Every time you say I love you
I think
Who else do you say that too?

Every time you hold me
I wonder if there's anyone else you've held

And I just can't help it

Some one else I thought I loved
Broke my heart

And I'll always remember

Winter flowers bloom
Like light shining through dark
Growing in untouchable desolation
Icicles hang
Glinting in the morning light
Frozen decorations
Coming each year
Chilling nights
Below a silver moon
The restless howls

I can happen so quickly
Or it can follow you slowly

You can run all you want
Hide as best you can
But still it comes

Tread on you must

Lightning and thunder
Dance in the sky
Black clouds surround us
Loud crashes are met
With flashes of heat
Hotter than the sun
Lightning flowers
Decote the skin of those
Who have been burned
As if in a war
Every answering attack
Is met with one equal in strenghth

Dance and deadly dance

Days are exhausting
