Leafs Of Autumn
As spring fades
Autumn slowy takes hold
Bright greens of every shade
Fade into rich reds, browns, and yellows
Twirling as swirling ever so gently
A delicate leaf gently kisses the ground
As time passes
More and more leafs
Leave the shelter of their home
Carried into the unknown by the wind
All is going to sleep now
All is beginning to lay dormant
Only waking when spring rays
Stirs the spark of life again

Outlets
Splatter
Splash
A single droplet
Glistens
Splatter
Splash
It slowly runs
Down
Splatter
Splash
The gentle kiss of
Cool metal
Splatter
Splash

Another Dawned Day
Sunlight, filtered through glass
Shines brightly but, still diluted
Dark eyes stare through the window
Luxurious locks of brown
Frame a face with pinks lips
Pink checks
Looking down below
To where the grass moves and sways
With the wind of a spring day
Dandelion seeds float, traveling
Far and wide
Little butterflies dance
Another day has dawned
Even if tommorow seems to take
An entire eternity
It comes eventually

Thinking Of What Lies Ahead
Clouds of grey
Lie strewn against bright blue
Dimming the already dim moonlight
The smell of rain permeates the air
The moisture almost tangible
Autumn winds blow red and brown leaves
Around on the floor
Staring at the celing
Glowing stars peep through the curtains
A half-bitten moon resides high in the sky
She waits for sleep to over come her
But her mind turns and works
Thinking about the future
Of what lies ahead

Soulmates
Soulmates
Entwined
No way to tell them apart from
The other
It just is
Life after life
They continue to search
Trying to find
Their other half
Roaming the world alone
Soulmates
Ones destined for each other
Who belong togeather
Inexplicably
Irrevocably
Once in a while
The broken become one

Sugar Coated Poison
It whispers in your ear
Leading you down the path
To madness
And you follow it
It sounds so sweet
Everything it promises
Sugar-coated poison
Slowly it will consume
You until you are nothing
But it's pawn
Until you're not you
Anymore and you
Become it
Suductive and alluring
It has you trapped

Her
Who is she?
Do you know who she is?
She is the person I share
Everything
With
Someone who's known me
Since before I was born
Her.
We share
Parents and birthdays
Arguments and
Good and bad times
Her.
We share
Friends
Teachers and
School

Will I Dream Of You?
Wish I may
Wish I might
As I lay me down tonight
Stars peep out
Through the night
Shining with their little lights
Will I dream?
Dream of you?
Of everything that we've been through?
Or will the nightmares come again?
Wish I may
Wish I might
As I finally sleep tonight
With the moon
Over head

What Is Love?
What is love?
Is it that feeling you get when you look into his eyes
As if the world has lost it's ties?
What is love?
Is it the way you smile when you look at your intertwined hands?
Or the feeling that you'll never be alone when everything ends?
What is love?
This thing that keeps two people together
A tie that can't ever be truly severed
Because even if the heart is gone and gone forever
What was there will be remembered
