You are up there
Perched
And poised
On a citadel.

So very human
So very living

Where Do I Go From Here?

No explanations,
No reasons,
No goodbyes.
You walk away
Closing doors after door.
Punishing me
for “loving”,
When they say
Its “hate” that is bad,
Leaving me here

Eyes Hers And Mine

I look into my eyes
Beautiful kohl lined
Sad eyes,
Shiny with tears.
Tears unshed,
Tears controlled,
Tears saved from
Yesterday,
Possibly today.
I look deeper
Beyond the shine of those tears.
I see my soul,
Her eyes a reflection
Of mine.

Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai.

Lakh talo me rah kar bhi

What is this place?
Where have I reached?
I stand infront
The mirror,
As a stranger
Stares back at me.
Do I know her?
Have we met before?

I cannot hold you close to my being
Forbidden love!
Nor can hope
For your love in return.
