A Letter to my dear friend
I wrote a letter to my friend,
the other day
I had just
A few things
I finally decided to say
Inside the letter were
special thoughts and memories
Written down in just the right way
I also mentioned that
in my heart
these special and precious moments

We all decide to gather
On this very gloomy day
The same day, a year
later to the date our dear friend
Anthony passed away
There was memories shared
Along with the candid views
So emotional even

His girlfriend made his favorite cake

In society today
It seems as if many have something to say
Yet, it appeaes as they speak the wind simply blows it all away.
Leaving most people wondering what was really said
Economy high, families can barely eat
Many are wondering how to make ends meet
Through all it politicians deny defeat
Reminding people of the America
We all know as sweet
Yet seeking ways to bring
the masses of people relief
Many people protesr to have something to say

Reflections
I sometimes have cyrstal clear reflections of you
The things you would often say,
or the actions you would do
I can still hear the songs you use to sing also
hum too
These are just a few of the ways
that Iam reminded of you
You often informed me,
That a new beginning would come
You also said that only when the people really
Demanded change, then it would be done
I have so many reflections that are filled with just simple fun,
of games we played that you also won.
These vivid reflections symbolizes hope
They serve as healing when I really need it most.

Good & faithful friend
I was feeling sort of down and lonely,
I decided to reach out to an old and faithful friend
I walked into the family room
and put some mellow music on
I was then bacK
in stride once again
My old friend really knows
how to make me happy
What a true and special pal
The horn is really oh so snappy and
The keyboard's melodies simply has a smooth blend
My good friend music
Really lifted my spirit at just the right moment
When I really needed a friend
Now Iam happy, once again
Iam sincerely fortunate to
Have a friendship with music and

Cherished moments
I have cherished memories in my heart
They serve as buried treasure and shall never part
As I take inventory in my mind, there's a sweet aromor
I then bundled them up in my arms.
Inside I feel so good, safe from any harm
These are memories of how it use to be,
Not necessarily famous,
Nor necessarily in need,
Just sweet safely stored away
are these awesome thoughts. you see
About loveones and how it use to be
I really love those times
Wonderful precious memories,

I came to Philly
with only postiive thoughts
In mind
I was encouraged, and focused with a

Sacred Twins
Grace and mercy arrived today
I viewed them differently today than the usual way
I saw them dancing together in a splendid harmonious way
Both bowing with cursey as the holy spirit guided the way.
I also heard a voice I know as the lord sayng
We are available each day
Always in a new and exciting way
I shall never leave you nor forsake you as my word says
The two twins simply bowed their heads
In approval of all of which the lord had said
There is so much more
He gently and sweetly said,
As he added

Hip hop is here to stay
